have free omms

ok many people say use a omm but who wants to use a omm when it takes up most of the time a good portion of someones money 5-10 for a 20m sale of gold it almost forces someone to go first and get scammed

i think some omms should step up and make them selfs free even if its like only on weekends or somthing so that it helps

 

The reason they become middlemen is to make extra cash, though

 

Free MM's are available. Most of them are quite trusted.

 

i dont know alot about mms i just have heard bad storys about some mms

 

All the people with the word Banned next to there name are free MM's, just contact one of them. I would not waste my time to do things for free neither why should these OMMs

 

OMMs should MM because they want to help out the community, NOT to make a living off of it. It shows their true colors right there, and to be honest, the fees have gotten way out of hand. Most don't even work on percentages anymore, rather they go on flat fees of $10 or more. If I have a 20M for $15 trade, I'm losing 66% of my profit, how is that fair?

For starters, there should just be universal fee system for ALL OMMs. It make it more balanced, and it would ensure they were fair. The reason people don't use OMMs is because like the OP has stated, on any small-medium sized trade, they lose half or more of the money they're getting.

 

If you don't want to pay for an OMM you don't have to.
It's as simple as that.

 

That would just defeat the purpose of MM's earning rep and trust to become a OMM.
There would be no point doing MM's for free and then becomming an OMM and still doing free trades.

 

Pointless. OMMs can decide to be free if they want, but that doesn't happen.

Your options are: Use a free mm, you won't necessarily be scammed but the likelihood vs an OMM who went through a lengthy application and was background checked is much higher.

 

I don't support this at all. People whine about paying a fee, but the majority of them are hypocritical. They then, in turn, whine about getting scammed and losing more money than the fee itself. I don't think $5 is too much to pay for the closest thing to a 100% secure trade there is. The OMMs must get a big application completed, and then approved before becoming one so they certainly have the right to charge a small fee. They work hard and are taking their time to help you trade with security. As I said, a small fee is not too much to ask. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

If this happened then there would be no point in even becoming an official middleman in the first place. The extra money that you pay for an omm is a fair price to ensure that your not going to get scammed. Remember that the people middle-manning these trades have to make money.

If you really don't want to pay the fee, then just find a free unofficial middle man that you deem trustworthy.
