Make it harder to Become an OMM

hey, not that many people are going to agree with this, I assume, but currently the amount of MMing going on makes it extremely easy to finish all the proofs within a day or 2.

I think there should be a few more of the higher trades required to complete the application because of the free trade update, and yes I'm aware finishing an application doesn't necessarily make you an OMM but it seems like very little effort now.

 

Would people who are already OMMs have to complete these new requirements if they have not already got the proofs for having done so?

Yeah, with the current boom in trades, there's a lot more MMing going on. Proofs are far too easy to obtain right now and the OMM application should be adjusted accordingly for future MMs.

10 trade up to 75
10 additional trades 75 - 150
3 trades 200+
2 trades 350+

Last night I could of done 5 MMs (half my application) in 1 night.

 

If you are on all day and get lucky you could finish it within 48 hours.

I think the 200 needs upped to at least 350 because there are tons of $500+ trades to MM right now. And I'd like to see an OMM App with a few BIG trades on it now as well since scamming is 100x easier.

 

I dont support.. There is a strong increase in the amount of people wanting to use OMM's .. as more trading has been going on lately. With this being said, we need more OMM's on the scene.. rather than making it harder for those applying in the first place.

Yes but even though they have the proofs they may still be denied of becoming an OMM. I say leave application how it is. Those who aren't deemed trusted enough to become an OMM wont either way.

I just don't want to see potential very good OMMs not applying because the process has become too annoying.

More customers means more OMMs needed.

 

Same amount of effort is needed for the current as well as the much higher proposed trade guidelines.

OMM candidates need to be even more trusted now then ever.

I still dont see how these guidelines need to be changed. It's not like any current OMM's have suddenly started scamming so the process needs to be harder to separate the trusted from not..

All current OMM's are doing a fine job... and anybody attempting to become a OMM can still be declined.

 

Rabs seems to me you're trying to become an OMM yourself so your opinion is not rellyable

Yeah, free trade came out which makes it easier to obtain all proofs required. What FireZ said for the proofs sounds good, but maybe a $500+ trade as well?

First of all - i haven't MMed a trade in 2 years.
Second of all.. even if i wanted to become an OMM it would have nothing to do with my opinions on the matter. I speak what i find most beneficial.. and at the moment the current OMM application seems to be fine.

Support, I managed to get my OMM application completed in about a month before the free trade update and since free trade I have been getting a lot more requests, there is a large demand for middle men now with free trade making it much quicker. I think $100+ should be changed to 5+ and $200+ to 3 then have 1-2 big trades like $300-$350+.

 

Support, harder it is the better i think

 

So how does this look, note this is just an example.

Does this seem too hard or about right

 

Either one seems fair to me.
