To all you "Aribter" fans.

Too much sides to the story, it will probably be impossible to tell who has scammed the accounts. The gho$t post or whatever on hackforums, could either be the real gho$t, or someone else trying to take the blame. As of now, I'm not actually taking sides anymore as after looking deeper into this I found that no one will know until someone actually confesses, which will, most likely, not happen.

Still, one thing unexplained, the DDOS'ing on PowerBot website.

One thing is for sure, if you have not already done so, change your passwords no matter if you used arbiter's bots or not. It probably makes no difference as there is strong evidence that rsbot-222.jar was actually infected. I don't think I'm allowed to post links to other forums, but yeah, even Paris said that rsbot-222.jar has been infected at some point, but then he also says arbiter infected his own scripts, which at this moment I don't find plausible anymore.

 

I'm on neither side in this argument.
None of my accounts have been touched, and I use the 3 most common clients, RSbot, Arbibots and Nexus.

I'd be lying if i said I didn't prefer one to the other however.
It's fair for you to state your opinion on all of this, but I don't think we'll ever have concrete evidence on who performed the deed, which is sad, because without evidence there can't be true vengance.

Many of Arbibots are not actually coded by Arbiter, as your post seems to imply. There are other scripters there, the only ones I can remember to name are NoEffex and Trigoon. That has no relevance to your post, but I'm just pointing it out.

And yes, Powerbot is open source, and like you rightly state "It means you can look up the source, and check what it contains, and check the code to see if it contains any malicious scripts, as well as using it to learn and develop other java applications or scripts". This does not mean it is Arbiter's doing. There were other scripters there with paid bots that you had to use a loader to access, Arbiter was not the only one.

To end this post;
Your post is just an open attack on Arbiter, with absolutely no evidence, not to mention this glaring error;

It is good enough evidence, not proof but evidence.. why would he encrypt his new "project"? "oh so no one steals source code", yep, like anyone would.. he is probably hiding something, he could have collected account usernames, passwords, and pins for ALL this time, and just waited it out 'till the trade limit.

I don't understand why you think it would be someone else than Arbiter, or any of his other "buddies". It all happened when they broke away from powerbot, that obviously says something that on the same day everyone gets their banks cleared, and powerbot is ddosed, but no, arbiter's website is all up and running along with his other websites.

And as the end, I'm quite tired of things going on in real life, as I actually have a life, unlike you, lil' bud, you should probably get off now and go ask your mom for breast milk, as you need it for stwong healfy boans!. And I'm not american, I usually don't make mistakes, but after I'm tired of driving for 8 hours straight, I tend to make mistakes, when you're older, you might understand, if you actually pass the license to drive.

 

RSBuddy has been down for days. So what they just broke away?

Ha, I bought about 4 bots from arbi, mainly because they were cheap. Didn't use on my main because the ones I bought weren't for my main. Anyways, I didn't trust it because there weren't many people using it and they were pretty new. So I didn't use my main like I said. Needless to say a account i used lost 8m, not a big deal to me because I don't use it but yeah. idk. haha

I'm just trying to surface the truth to the masses blaming PowerBot for their mistakes in trusting obfuscated codes. If powerbot is open source, there is no reason they would risk their respected bot to be put to shame. That's all there is. Don't get all angry saying that I have no logic, because it is pretty logical that, that would be the case. Don't say you are on neither side also, you are strongly on Arbiter's side seeing from what you are posting.

See, here is another (one of the many posted around) proof of a user using arbibots getting his money stolen.

 

There's no real proof on either side, arguing it is pointless, there's fans for each bot, next time someone is hacked with rsbuddy or powerbot we'll fine out obviously.

 

True, true. I think no one is probably going to get hacked anymore, however, as then the real truth would spill out. Rs"buddy" will continue to be encrypted, hiding (god knows what) under its skin. And Powerbot will be open source.. as it always was.. always available for anyone to check for any malicious code.

It's funny because arbibots stemmed from powerbot, and he is blaming the bot that made his scripts possible on all the scamming, then making a replica of the same bot and encrypting it, (there is no possible way to make a ENTIRELY new and "better" API, within a day of breaking away from the same bot).

 

I didnt get anything stolen off of my guy with 20m....and i used Arbibots.

That all makes logical sense. Who knows if that's the true story though.

One other thing is, I have friends who never used Arbi bots, yet they used Powerbot, and guess what, they got their gold stolen.

 

Yeah, we'll see, i don't plan to buy anymore bots though, i'm going to try to learn how to make mine, i think this incident was a rude awakening for everyone, if you know how to make your bots you're much safer in the long run.

i used one of arbibots scripts on my only account and i have and still have 80m on it but i never downloaded any powerbot scripts so just throwing that out there

Actually Gh0st hacked PowerBot website, then they changed RSBot-222.jar (or whatever it's called) to a backdoored one. Then they got 7k+ unique accounts. Then they started transfering items.

 

I have actually looked around, and it might actually be probable that has happened.

It all seems really shady, so as for now, I'm gonna remove the original topic. Should'a given it more thought.

Yeah, that sort of convinced me that rsbot-222.jar was infected for sure. Now if Ghost was actually the leader of all this still remains unknown, I got a 2.22 copy, and I will disassemble it and check the codes.
