Find Vouch Thread of ___

Similar to Determinate's suggestion. Maybe have a "Find Vouch Thread of ____" where the orange box is? This would save users having to ask "link to vouches" or "please show vouches".



This would link to a thread of your vouches, which would be in the Vouches Forum.

 

I don't think this is necessary. Most people have it in their signature or have enough community presence that people are aware of their vouches. It's also sort of awkward, and I suspect that we'll have to have an admin insert the URL into the link.

 

though it's not necessary, it would definitely be nice, because though most people link their vouches some don't, and it can be a bit of a hassle asking for a link to their vouches thread

 

Yes I see what you mean but maybe have it automatically link to your thread in the Vouches forum? Make it so you are only allowed 1 thread in the Vouches forum and make it connect to it. I'm not sure if that's possible with this type of forum or not. If it requires an Admin to manually add the URL in then that would take too long.

 

You could always do the following steps but most have links in signatures
1.seach
2.advance seach
3.(persons name)
4.seach in vouch forum
5.Threads started by
6.Search

 

Haha you are correct but like Determinate's suggestion, it saves users the time to look it up. Also helps server lagg since the search function takes up bandwidth I assume?

 

i agree with the above i dont find this needed i think alot of people like there fancy sigs with there vouches
