    dedicate basement computers to botting

hey i have 2 basement pc's, they arent good, so i assume they can only run a max of 2 users per pc. i have a fairy good internet connection so im not worried about lag. i was wondering how should i set them up, like how can i transform them to botting computers, i am totally new to this so i do not not know where to turn for help other than here.

i also am wondering how can i make it possible so that i can link my 2 basement pc's to my main computer, like actually to take control of the pc via internet real time, without me actually going on to check up on them.

    much appreciation for help

What I would do, part out the ram sticks and add them onto the one with the better CPU. If you stick with both computers, get one screen with two VGA inputs (not rare nowadays) - you could just find a crappy bubble one. Hook them up to the same computer and switch between the VGA's. As for your routering, run the 3 directly of one, or, buy a bridge and leave it in the basement, connect the bridge to the router via running it down the stairs and connect your main computer to the router. If you want to access your computer's remotely (this will prevent you having to buy an extra screen) you'll need a VNC application. TeamViewer is an example of a VNC viewer but is not recommended. I use UltraVNC for my VPS's and it works well. All you need to do is figure out your computers IP, each computer will have a different IP, and then open a port (5904 to be specific but check if it works before you port foward). Then access you VNC by simply supplying (your IP)::1 (1 = default default = 5904). PM me if you need any further help.

thanks for the info, yeah ill be using just one computer i guess, their really cheep to buy so if something ill buy some ram @ a local goodwill or something if its becoming to slow. im connecting my bot pc via wifi im going to add a built in wireless adapter into it that i got for 10 bucks. and it will be right next door to my wifi router so it wont be to slow.

one last question though, i want to reinstall windows xp on it but i was wondering, is their another version of windows xp that is more compact with less resources so it could run faster, support more bots?

Not really, you should stick with linux operating systems for low end botting computers and vns type configurations.

Perhaps consider using a vps instead? If your intention is making real life money, I think running 2 extra computers (for 4 bots total?) defeats the purpose; your parents' electricity bill will increase dramatically if you're leaving 2 extra computers on 24/7 :p

well vps are pretty pricey, and im only going to use one. i have a laptop right now and it's in my room all the time because i have alot of wires set up to it. i dont like sleeping with my pc on, as it annoys me so i would turn off my pc and just turn on my botting pc at night. and i dont plan on it running 24/7 maybe only like 2weeks or less out of the month.

i dont want to make real life money. i feel it's hard to make actual profit, maybe like $10-20 month but thats pointless thats penny change if your constantly spending hours making it, and i just want to raise enough cash for achieving expensive skills, such as crafting/construction/prayer and so on.

You can use windows just fine. And no, you are not downloading the proper torrent. You need x86_32 not 64 bit.

If you use windows, just connect via mstsc. It's simple really.
