Price Of Everything Crashing???

Why is the price of everything crashing atm? is it because the large amount of gp from un used accounts or whatt? Or the botters just dumpin their stuff?

Like Sharks have gone down. Monkfish have gona down. Herbs are going down. Glorys are going down. Whips are going down. Alot of things are goin down haha.

If you're talking about inflation, no, that's not the reason why all prices are going down. All items that are skillable and makeable are all going down.

lol no1 believed everything was gonna crash. its common sence if u played pre-08. the prices are crashing due to inflation. merch clans controlled the market raising it at will. now everything is settling down. back to the way it used to be.

I know DFS - 20m
Full bandos - 35-40M
Furys - 11m-13m

 

A lot of stuff is rising at the moment.

 

Bandos, claws, AGS, DFS and Fury's are rising I believe.

The people that quit and have come back are now selling them. Hence more supply then demand.

 

I don't know the exact method Jagex uses to determine prices, but I suspect they include trades off the GE to determine prices; otherwise, broodoo shields probably wouldn't have survived as viable junk as long as they did.

Thus, with free trade, it's possible the crash is partially due to the way the GE determines mid prices - people are seeing an artificial drop in the apparent price, assume it's a real decrease, and sell lower as a result. If so, the deflation isn't sustainable.

I assume prices will bounce back in a couple weeks.
