Trade Scam Nerfed

I don't know if it has been posted/other people have noticed, but Jagex have patched a lot of trade scams.

They have now made it so you can't quickly accept after changing an offer, there is a 1 or 2 second delay. Meaning that it is MUCH harder to do tricks like 9191k to 1919k.

I hate Jagex. I made like 30m yesterday doing that scam, got so many sara swords for 2m it is unbelievable.

 

I believe it's against the rules to admit scamming.

 

Not scamming on Runescape. That's ok.

I'm not scamming on Sythe, i'm scamming on Runescape. Other players. For their things.

 

Im fricking glad that jagex patched this. You scammers get on my nervers. Learn to play or get off.

 

Your on the wrong site, to be honest. And if you actual check your trade screen there is no way you can get scammed.

Jagex made this game to friendly for 10 year olds.

 

It's the victims of in game scamming that need to learn to play. If you fall for a scam that easily avoided then you almost deserve it, and if you pull one off you almost deserve it too, imho.

 

This is not a site for for scammers. It's a blackmarket** Online Market.
Scammers have the same mentality as Hackers and account scammers

 

This scam is primitive and easily avoided; anyone who thinks they are so amazing and still get had deserve to get their items taken.

Yesterday i got 3 dragon chains for 1.9m, a whip and 3 pairs of dragon boots. When selling 12m of stuff you don't accept quickly, ever. If you do, you are a moron.

Since i was probably level 13 i have NEVER been scammed. Why? Because someone removed a black platebody and stole my 5k. Yes, i was pissed off. Yes, it was all my cash. But at the same time, it stopped me getting scammed for 12m of items like the idiots i scam now. So when you think about it, we can blame Jagex :3

 

Sucks for you, but it also sucks to be a scammer.

Hense there being a big red marker when taking items out. I don't think scammings possible.

 

I have never scammed on Runescape.

BUT, scamming on Runescape is much different to scamming real life money. To scam real life money, you have to be much more apathetic. Runescape, however, is just a game.

A good analogy is, killing on Runescape is less worse than killing in real life. Just replace the killing with scamming.

 

Killing on runescape = part of the game (EG what your supposed to do)

Scamming on runescape = Against the rules + dishonest + cheating = Bannable

Scamming on sythe = against the rules + dishonest + a bad way to become trusted = Bannable

 

Scamming is not cheating.

It's knowingly stealing someonelses goods.

 

Kind of sad Jagex just patched the scam, this is the old runescape everybody wanted back. They even made posts on their websites about scam prevention weeks before the update <.<

 

I'm happy they patched that.

 

Scamming in game or scamming on Sythe, its all the same shit. The fact that you aren't banned for this is stupid.

 

In game gold, virtual or not, is still a currency that is worth something. 1M gold is equal to $1 irl currently. To say that it isn't bad is like saying "I didn't steal money, I stole a coat. Its different because it isn't money."
