Why are gp's so cheap now?

Wasn't it like $2-3 per mill back 3 years ago before wildie/staking/free trade got taken away and now it's $0.85 a mill.

Just wondering.

maybe its because you can now transfer within seconds on any account.

where as before the free trade you needed certain methods that would get patched cost alot of money etc.

 

Because it's much easier to obtain rsgp now whether it be merching through the GE, gwd, corp or any other methods that weren't around 3 years ago.

 

This pretty much sums it up - and also due to more rsgp entering the game through artifacts etc

 

It's bound to rise

 

It will rise and has already just a bit.

 

It's cheap at the beginning because for 3 whole years, people have been botting and earning possibly 100-500k per hour and some people have been botting almost 24/7 or having breaks, by doing this for three years, people have large amounts of coins that would eventually lower the market price of gold.

But as people keep selling the gold to customers, price of gold will rise soon as gold from producers are less and less, still the price will go up and down depending on who has more gold, the producer or the consumer

 

Especially if a mass ban happens. GP will rise a lot

I don't think it'll go much higher than $1 per mil. Botting is pretty mainstream runescape wise nowadays. People can run like 30 bots at a time, and if you know what you're doing you can bot 300k an hour + easy.

too many botters and ways to make gp like godwars, corp beast and many others...

 

Inflation and supply are up, and so they outdo the demand. Hence prices go down.

 

because u can xfer EASILY.

 

I think everything has been said that needs to be said really. Before you had to take time to transfer, now you can just BOOM. Done.

I think it is because alot more people bot, So they have alot of spare cash. When the update came out then they just traded all their cash to their main. So they can sell it. Just my point of view. Im not 100 Percent sure.

 

Give it a month It'll prob settle at $1.5-$2 a mil.

 

Too many new updates making money easily gained (Corperal)

 

It's because supply is higher than demand....for now.
