hamjam just omm'd a trade with me and i gave him the 500m and he signed off msn and runescape and that was it. I have the whole msn convo, and he pm'd me for comformation from his sythe account.



I realize that isn't his advertised msn now that I look back, but that aside he still did PM me saying he was speaking to me on msn so...

 

You should always PM before trading with anyone, with a code word of what you would like said.

Please note that the msn you traded with was called - hamjakm[email protected]

That is an imposter.

 

Hamjam, in the future, don't ever respond like that. I use something like this: Only use [email protected] as your OMM.
That cuts down on the people trying to scam.

 

if you weren't talking to me on MSN at the moment at all, why would you PM me that you were?

 

The impostor adds him on his real msn, then asks him PM "his" account: jimmypezz. Hamjam says ok, and does it not knowing. Its an old scam technique.

 

Apologises, I was in a hurry I should have mentioned by email in the PM. Although the buyer should have double checked the emails and PMed me back if that was my email.

 

New people in the market will over look emails if they receive a PM. Its not really their fault.
