Rule Modification

hey everybody,

I have been looking to buy a upgrade and cant help but notice that everybody in that section is a "Newcomer/Leecher" .

In the rules, it clearly says that you give your account to a TRUSTED member to do the upgrade.

i think that you should do something like 250 post requirement to make a thread in this section.

i know it is not allowed to be suggested, but i think you should just consider it or come up with a solution, because it is clearly getting out of hand.

 

No, post requirement is a horrible thing to base "trust" off of. Earlier today there was this guy who went around posting the same thing in everyone's thread and then tried selling accounts, and said he was trusted because of a high post count.

tl;dr: In most cases, postcount != trust.

 

I got scammed on different forums from people who have 2k+ post.


Everyone started from 0.

 

Trust is subjective. What you deem trusted is different from my definition, same with everyone else. Post count is not an accurate measure of trust, as such implementing this suggestion would accomplish little.

 

Wouldnt help. Scammers there would just spam posts to get the requirement.

 

ahh kk well you could lock this, just wanted to see your opinions.

 

Why wouldn't you do a vouch requirment?
