The Perfect client. FREE!!!

][Hello Sythe community! I'm a CS student at Purdue University in Indiana. Welcome to a project I've been working on for a few weeks now! The Perfect Client ô. I simply can't believe sites like some websties are charging up to $30 for software! Anyway I've created my own version of these tools and I think it should be free! ;-)


This is NOT a botting client. This is a separate piece of software that will run RS outside of a browser. Much like JaGex's crappy game client! Bleh... >.< While Perfect Client looks very simple it runs just as efficiently as any browser or other client can do. I've designed it to be feature rich with MANY plans yet to be instilled into it. This thing is gonna be awesome!


Current Features:
-Runs RS perfectly with all setting combos
-After selecting the "Staked Duel" option with a player, their adventure log and highscores are delivered to a convenient spot next to your browser. (I'm really excited about this feature!
-Account manager that allows you to view stats of multiple accounts offline once added. You can even compare accounts! (Friends idea, thanks Geoff! )

-Free! This thing will always be free!!!

All of the above features ARE WORKING!


I'm spending a lot more time on this project lately, really getting excited about it. I think it will be very useful to any RS player no matter what his task! I will be releasing updates weekly (maybe more than once or twice a week!)

Features yet to come:
-RSS feeds from adventure logs
-Any calculator you can imagine!
-Quest guides that will be down loadable from my site (when I get one, next week) and viewable inside client
-Treasure trail guide pop up window with search bar! (expect this in a few weeks)
-Expandable plugin ability, for calculators and other tools/guides
-Item lookup
-Soooooooooo many more features I can't even list them all (I have HUGE plans for this)

I'll admit that most of these features I haven't figured out exactly how they will all work, but bear with me! I am very persistent and want an awesome client just like everyone! These will be fabricated and built into the client in the next month, that is a PROMISE! I have a friend joining the project soon who is more knowledgeable than me in coding and have some very neat ideas, stay tuned!

Installation: Windows 7/Vista preferred. Haven't tested on anything else. It was created in C# and will need at least the .NET Framework 4.0. When you open up the install package it may install prerequisites for you.

Good luck getting downloads, the amount of attempts at hacking and phishing from things like this on Sythe is quite a lot :/
Maybe some pictures will help you get started, I won't be downloading without some testemonials first.

 

The fact that you didnt post pictures of the client it self seems fishy. And generally every client is free which makes it even more fishier

 

AVG and Malwarebytes didn't pick up anything from the .zip, but I didn't extract it, and I'm pretty sure only idiots will.

I used a program to decompile it. It sends your account info to his gmail. He also left his gmail password in the source code.
