Possible, pking works. But I am always worried about the seller bringing "friends" and could call the blame on me. But perhaps if an OMM is used he could be much more trusted.

Btw, for RWT is it still an instant ban? I mean bots seemed to stopped instant banning now. Perhaps they are less stringent on RWT too?

Make a fake convo. Or just do a fake scam. Pretend your "borrowing it".

 

Thanks, I know im paranoid and people do trades all the time but you gotta understand that I really want to be cautious.

The issue about a fake scam is, no one with a phat will honestly borrow it out with the new lending system. I mean it could totally be legit, but could Jagex ban for it? I mean if they notice I have never been on their FL, and the guy goes around to sell other party hats/GP they could come back and ban on those premises.

Fake arena seems more promising but I would have to have a stake that is nearly if not the same as the phat in which I do not have.

I am thinking luring/fake death with the OMM. Any good ideas on OMM who deal with the most gp volume? a $500+ trade is relatively large I would imagine, other than maybe GP companies liquidating or something... who knows...

Well I am going to start the xfer of funds from my bank account for now. May do it may not but at least I will have them ready. Takes a while for it to happen anyways. Hopefully the massive influx that will happen on the 1st will not be over by then.

Just very worried about using an OMM. Not because they are untrustworthy. Actually quite the opposite. It is that they MM a massive flux of accounts. Perhaps it might be useful to ask if he could do it on a very old/rarely used account through a proxy. (I know you guys think I am super paranoid because I just said that ). Then get lured on that account in the wilderness. Use crazy made up conversations like me finding a random low level (who may have just RWT the hat and not knowing what to do with it) then luring him.

Who knows. Whats the usual ban rate on gp trades anyways and how hard are the reports? Instant ban still?

 

THEY CAN TELL IF ITS A RWT BUT THE IP ADDRESSES. IF YOU TRADE WITH SOMEONE IN THE SAME CITY AS YOU THEY COUNT THAT AS GIFT GIFT BETWEEN FRIENDS BUT IF ITS OVER COUNTRIES, CONTINENTS OR EVEN STATES THEY PICK UP ON THIS QUITE EASILY!@!

i suggest making another acc trading the phat.. holding it on the lvl 3 for about 4-7 days and then trading across to main..

 

I was thinking of that, was thinking make a new account on a different IP address. transferring it to that account then adding my main and "befriending him" over possibly even a few months then making the trade. Sounds paranoid but I see your reasoning.

Again I am sure many friends are trading across countries all the time. I think the main issue is friend lists. Thanks though I am taking down notes!

 

Jagex has no detection. Don't worry about it, just do it.

 

I traded over 10santas to my mate from holland, I dont think anything WOULD happen, although you might wanna be careful with what you do after that i.e do another consistent trade with others offering them millons..

 

Free trade means free trade, you can give whatever you want.. Why are people so fucking scared to get banned if there is free trade...

 

You could get it onto an account that's been on the friends list of your main for a while (I used my skiller) so that, if an account gets banned, it will probably be the first one and not your main.

 

Thanks guys, I understand free trade is free trade. But prior to the removal of free trade they had banned people numerous times. Plus they even stated that they have new methods of detecting it. Now I know nothing is perfect and many people trade every day without issues.

But im sure they have some sort of system. I am assuming my best trader is one of those "im just selling my phat once for money, then prob never trading again" kinda people.

Since im sure they will find people constantly giving away items to random people, but who knows. Thanks for the comments guys. I rather take the safe route on this.

 

i agree with bow of mercy, free trade is free trade. though i see your problem. i would properly just stake it.

 

They do have methods of finding you. I had my main banned before the removal of free trade because I traded with a goldseller.

Just be cautious; you don't need some elaborate scheme. Jagex isn't THAT thorough.

 

be logged in for more than 30 minutes, no need to add to your friends list, and make it like in g/e so it doesnt make it secluded

 

Try fake luring. That works really well.
