Clearing the Air with Powerbot and Arbi

Thanks for sharing man I changed all of my passwords. I can see Paris doing something like this, but not really Arbiter. I think this may have been a reason why Arbiter broke off of powerbot to go create rsbuddy. Anyways nice share, and everyone should change their passwords just in case, regardless of what they "think" will happen.

 

I looked through both rsbot 2.20 and arbiter's edited rsbot2.20 and I don't see anything that sends users/pins/pass's to any external location.

 

It's their auth scripts, not their clients. Clients have been confirmed to be clean.

 

Quick question: I use bots from rsbotting, oembots, and rsbots.

I got my client from rsbots.

Am I safe?

Yeah, this is a totaly different client. You use the neXus client with those bots, this is the RSBot client.

 

I could have sworn rsbots was Nexus.

 

rsbots.net is on the neXus client, the client from powerbot is called RSBot. It's kind of confusing.

 

I'm kinda confused with this but.. I used only 1 script which was built in powerbot called "Fighter" by foulwerp. That's the only script I used for only ONE account. I've used 2 other accounts to login with the client but didn't use any scripts for the other 2. Are all of the accounts i've used are safe?

Power Bot, I trust, there is no way there would be a password, username, pin logger in it, since it is open source.

However, fucking arbitshiter, no, I never trusted that faggot. Not only was he a total douchebag, denying everyone's script that was going to be put on the market (so he won't have competition), I could pm him for a question, he would never fucking answer.

Also, he had a LOT of complaints on the forum when he was an administrator, and now that he made his own plagerized copy of the bot (rsbuddy <-- sounds gay, anyways) he will probably not release open source for that and hooray for more accounts.

Also, you cocky morons saying "oh i suck arbiter's cock everynight by buying his scripts, he won't hack me because i didnt get hax00red omgomgom". Of course, he has collected so much information, he probably goes on and checks them, if they have an OVERLOAD of items, he obv isn't going to risk getting caught, but if they have to little, no sense either. Medium items is what he goes for, and only a few accounts, not ALL of them at a time, obviously. Use your brains you knuckle heads.

Another reason for him doing the hacking is that free trade returned, and guess what? YOU CAN TRADE UNLIMITED AMOUNTS.

If OP can get a sense out of what I'm saying, please add it to your main post, people need to be aware what a dick arbiter is.

(TL;DR) Arbiter hacks, there is enough evidence, and reasons. Do not buy paid bots (that are obfuscated), script yourself. Hope you learned a lesson.

 

Dude raises a point. I have heard quite a few sketchy things about Powerbot, but Arbi seems more likely to be the hacker. None of the accounts I used Powerbot for were hacked, and my mate that uses Arbi said he got hacked.

 

Hey there, thanks for your informative post!

Please let me start out by saying that I am an admin at the powerbot community and we are responding to every question we get. As of now were simply taking the most frequently questions we get due to the massive amounts of emails, tweets, and msn messages that we've got. We are currently offline due to the DDoS attacks and it was our provider who decided to make it so. It seemed like we had no other choice at the time, but we are working on some preventing methods and hope to see results by midday tomorrow at best.

Also allow me to explain how the ddosing got started. The night arbiter quit he obtain a ddoser and used it on us. We have never stepped on anybody's toes nor have any believe that we might have, so we weren't prepared for these attacks. Now I'm accusing arbiter because during our first down time he abused the ******* access he still had from being an admin and posted to go to his website on it. It was around this time that I by chance looked at it to see if paris had forgot to tell us something, but he didn't seeing as at this time he was asleep. This being done I proceeded to access our ******* and remove arbiters access while deleting both posts he made. I commented on this by telling people to disregard the two previous posts as they were childish lies. We continued being attacked and when we got a bit of handle on the situation and our site was back up these hack threads had started. Do believe when I say we were already busy enough trying to get the site back up, so we were slow to caught onto what happened. By this time Paris had woken up and quickly proceeded to warn people of rogue forks on our forum. We continued to experience slow time and down time through Tuesday and today when we started noticing this threads, by which we responded on our ******* forewarning people not to use arbibots and get the money back.

Now at this point some of you're are probably wondering why we blamed arbiter? Well it is quite simple. Myself and the admin Wei Su interrogated every single person who posted on powerbot to see what they all used recently since Liang, our developer, had already notified us that were not compromised. They all responded arbibots. It was not hard to add 1+1 to get 2 then. As we accused them however, arbibots/rsbuddy simply responded by saying we were lying due to the fact that were scared of them. Let me assure you again we are not. It is for that reason that I'm going from site to site letting people know this, as well as from user to user.

In all honesty stealing or messing with your accounts in anyway serves of no purpose to us. Gold4rs has their own way of achieving their sells and were are not involved with them other than by name. We have been open for years now and wish to remain so.

Arbiter himself has stated on our ex-ventrilo to be the cause of our ddos according to many users now. He left powerbot not because he thought we were dying, but because he wanted a better website to monetize. One that jacmob offered to create the bot for. I've myself have talked about this with him in the past and most days he always mentioned making money in one way or another. He wanted paris to expand the site, but we are runescape cheating website and we will remain the same. For this he called paris a dictator.

We would have loved to see them grow and compete with them in a fun good manner way. I myself wished him the best of luck with his new project before he resigned, but the way they're doing things. It is simply childish and I feel for anyone who has had their things stolen by them.

At the moment we are working on securing the site and bring it back up. A botting site that has become more than that. They may come for our bot, but they stay for the community.

Honestly, it is hard to believe either of you.

First of all, there is too much crap on both developers.

Second, this is all a shit pot.

Third, no one will trust either of you, if they know what they are doing.

 

Loren, I am not here to fight, or argue with you. I'm simply stating this for any users that were part of our community or still consider themselves part of it. They deserve and explanation and I'm giving one. That being said, it is up to the user to believe what they want, so I will not judge.

Does anyone actually have any proof behind these claims?

Like a script where there's actually code sending information to someone?
