Pay to get your acct unbanned?

Just saw this today, anyone with a banned acct know how much you have to pay?

What are your thoughts on it? If you have a banned acct, and are given the opportunity, will you pay?

 

What the hell when did this come out? Wow lol. Rs is becoming more corrupt every day. Thats crazy though. I don't have any perm banned accounts though, luckily.

Well that was one smart fucking move on JaGeX' part. I'm actually amazed they'd do such a thing, and I'm currently having trouble believing that's even real.

"Any gains or advantages that Jagex considers were made as a result of using macros shall be removed from your account. You accept that the account will be returned to you, adjusted by Jagex to take account of the cheating offence, and no discussion will be entered into regarding the status of a returned account."

 

It seems that the accounts would be rolled back once you get them. I have 2 banned accounts, 1 Zerker and 1 Def range pure. I'll look at the prices to see if I'd want to recover any at all, since the 1def pure was 100% botted(99hunt, 93 range, 90mage).

I guess JaGex is really in need of some money.

Hm, they haven't offered it to my range tank banned a few months ago I think they're only offering to lvl 100's not lvl 3 macro accounts because they only said "Select people." Tbh they should start selling rsgp, it's not like they can become more corrupt.

 

I have one single account that was banned for macroing, and good lord would I pay for it to be unbanned. Any idea on how we find out if this opportunity has been offered to us?

 

I would assume it would be somewhere in your appeal offences page. Though it says it's at Jagex's discretion, so I guess we'll have to wait and see if anyone is given the chance.

I would laugh if they asked for $50, reset all your stats and then gave it back to you.

 

Yeh, but who wants a reset account? You end up paying 50 quid for a level 3? Where did they say they will reset it, I can't find this anywhere?
