Keeping account

Hi,
So, I tried to log into my main account a few weeks ago only to find that someone had hacked the account. After a few attempts, I finally got the account back. The special thing about my account is that I got it a few years ago when someone gave it away to me. That person would be the most likely suspect for the account recoverer. If this is the case, then he must know enough information to get the account back himself. I've since changed recoveries, set a bank pin, and set an email address, but I'm worried that if I work on the account or do any black market trading, I may lose everything now that free trade is back and if the other guy recovers the account again, he can just trade all my stuff over. Are there any more steps I should be taking in securing the account or should I just give up on the account all together? Any advice is appreciated.

There is no other steps that can be taken, if he has the info and especially if he is the original owner he can recover whenever he wants, regardless of what you do to the account.

 

Thanks for the quick response. I guess I realized that, but I figured that people who get hacked normally might have a way around this, because if a hacker changes recovs and changes the pass 3 times, he probably has a good chance at getting the account back as well. I was so used to the account, I never would have guessed that a previous owner would come back to the account years later haha.

 

Yes if he made the account using his own Ip address, he has all the power to recover it whenever he wants. But it sounds like your speculating on who took it, just be rational and know your account can never be 100% recover proof.
