Homophobia in Throne of Miscellania Quest.

I think people need to calm down, it's just a game, just because you clicked to marry the princess doesnt make you straight (if youre gay). It's a game, what else do you want the world to do for you, locker room for gays in gyms too?

I'm all for gay rights and equality, but I think what you've posted is just over-the-top. Does it really matter if they aren't allowed to marry the prince if they're a male?
If you're so concerned about the treatment of homosexuality in Runescape, why not bring up the issue as to why the word "gay" is censored in game?

Um, it's not like you're marrying the prince/princess for love anyway; you're marrying him/her to become regent of the throne. Marriage, in the context of the times that most of Runescape seems to be based on, was for reproduction and continuing the family line.

The king wanted you to marry his son/daughter so that you could produce an heir to the throne with them, not to make them happy.

I think the storyline of Blood Runs Deep was rather stupid in that it made your character actually be in love with the NPC who you pretty much seduced for your own personal gain, but that's a rant for a different day.

 

This is how I feel. Has this really affected you so much that you can no longer play?

Also for those of you calling it unrealistic, stfu. This game has dragons, unicorns and magic. I don't think jagex was going for realism.
