Recovered Account

Summary:

Back in late September 2010, I successfully purchased an account from rsaccounttrader. All went smoothly at the time. Around a week ago I went to log in to the account only to find the "incorrect password" screen, so I did a highscore check of the display name and it wasn't there, so I assumed it had been recovered. I recovered the account successfully, only to have it re-recovered from me a couple of hours later. A new bank pin had been set, so I was unable to check if anything was left. Basically I'm here to find out what I can do about it, if anything. I've exchanged a few PM's with rsaccounttrader without much success in resolving this.

I am not here to accuse rsaccounttrader of anything, I just want to know what sythe policy is regarding recovered accounts and if there's anything I can do about it because it's a fairly sizeable amount of money down the drain. He wasn't the original owner. I've asked him who he bought the account from, as he said he has phone numbers, etc in the orginal msn convo's but he says he can't remember. I can provide all unedited screeny's to any mod who wishes to see them.

I only ever log on to sythe and rs from my computer at home, no one else has access to it and I've got 7 other rs accounts that have had no trouble, so it's not a problem on my end.

Knowing the original owner would help, the IP does not match any of his, and its in a complete different state.

 

Well I have asked rsaccounttrader who the previous owner is and he say's he 'can't remember', but I know he wasn't from America. The two last time's I've attempted to recover have failed now (any mod is welcome to try with the details I purchased) and I'm sure the gold is long gone.

If nothing can be done then I'll just have to cop the loss, however I thought it was worth making a report as it's $460 down the drain.

 

I don't think there is anything else left to do mate :/

 

We can't force rsaccoutrader to refund you since there is no proof he was involved, most likely the original owner got account happy and stole it back.
