One Defence Pures

I reckon all one defence pures shouldnt really pk in the wilderness if there fighting another pure, most of them will probz protect there dscim or w.e youll get like the dragon dagger, in my opinion i suggest you go to f2p atleast youll get rune scim and rune 2h unless they prot aswell, so its badluck for all f2p and p2p..

So you can't get any decent drops? Right.
you'll get any armour like ranger boots, amulets, clothing, ammo, runes, food etc.
Also it's fun.
This wasn't too much of an issue pre '07, I doubt it will be now.

 

1 Defence pures are ridiculously stupid now. They used to be cool to pk with but now all you fight are other 1 def pures, and they all use phoenix necklaces and chocolate bombs now so it's annoying to fight them.

 

Also, Im not sure if its just me but i risk a ton and im a 1 defense pure, but i show off a bit too i guess.

I bring my ags or claws, full saradomin robes for mage bonus, climbers, ancient staff, 15 dragon bolts (e), rune cross, 50-100 barrages, super str and att pots, range pots, prayer pots, anti poison pots, skillcape or accumulator, and food of course

all in all i usually risk over 1mil and alot of pures that are my friends do the same. Plus, im lvl 88 so plenty of zerks to kill for rune. Just saying, maybe lower level pures (60-70) will run into problems with shitty loots but i doubt that will be the case for higher pures.

 

I always hated f2p because you kept your 3 items and everyone else would just protect their scimmy or helmet. All you'd ever get was food unless they were skulled. max loot in f2p is like what? 2m if you have a trimmed str ammy?

 

There will be worlds thats going to have no Protect item in wildy, no curses, and some other stuff.

claws lost, dbows lost, runes lost, cash lost, staking, rares, noobs, luring.

everything will be fine tbh. but i do agree they are WAY more pures now then they were, but they were still alot of pures in 07

 

Yeah, but pking supplies are also cheaper in F2P. So it kinda balances that out a bit..

 

well what people did in bounty hunter was bring a full trimmed rune set (zammy sara guthix rune G etc) and then no arm, so you got more than just a rune scimmy. Maybe people will do that again though I don't remember it happening much in the wildy.

 

The reason there are so many pures now are because they're easy to make and can be botted on for quick stats/cash. Most pures don't risk so don't fight them. Go staking or to the new worlds where protecting isn't allowed.

 

Higher level pures bring whip or maybe even ags I guess if they like to risk

 

It was this way in 2007. Why would it be a problem now. The only problem I see is overpowered weapons.

 

Man it's not about the drop they are just fun. It was never a problem in the past not to mention there will be other drops, a glory a dds, climbing boots, runes, d hide, arrows etc. Not to bad for a lot of fun IMO

 

People are forgetting Climbers cost 75K now.

DDS 50K + C Boots 75K = 125K

I remember old school pure pking. Prepare for a surge of protect item dds pures. If you kill one all you get is like 5 ice blitz runes some robes and MAYBE a dds if they didnt protect it. That's not worth 25 sharks, a super strength, and a prayer potion just to fight those suckers. Most didn't even bring D scims.

If your a dds pure yourself then well...then what does it matter because you dont risk either. Have fun I guess.
