Spend my paycheck on fun or on academics?

So I have a dilemma.
I'm not going to be getting paid as much as usual this next month, and I don't know what I'm going to spend my money on...
Snowboarding gear?
Or suits.
I need the gear for a trip I'm going on in February, but I need the suits for senior year shit and youth and government.
If I buy the gear, I'll have to ask my mom to buy me a suit or two and then I'd have to pay her back somehow.
If I buy the suit, then I'll have to ask my sister's boyfriend if I can borrow his gear again, and he's about 5 feet taller than me, and about 200 pounds heavier...

What should I do?
