Vindictus

A few buddies of mine downloaded this game. It's downloading for me as I write this. Have you guys played it? If so what do you think of it? It looks pretty neat, but I think only having 3 classes is lame.

 

Looks just like Mabinogi with better graphics. I dont like it, i saw my lil bro playing it. I just cant get used to "wow-like" games.

 

Yeah, i agree with hey guys, any game thats based around or even like WoW are no good. I played wow for to long and quit because it got boring i couldnt even think about playing a wanna be wow game lol.

Mm well I played it for a while, and it turns out to be almost the same concept as Phantasy Star Universe if you guys have played it before.

 

I've played it but it got boring. Everyone has the same exact armor, no diversity.

 

It seems very repetitive from what I've seen, although it's probably still better than runescape(by a long shot, too). There are just other aspects of RS people like.

Either way, vindictus is definitely a competitor to rs. It was voted top free MMO 2010 by IGN I believe..which runescape is typically charting.

 

It is almost exactly like Phantasy Star Universe in concept if you've played it. I'm fine with that on a console but it's rather disappointing when I play a game similar to it on the computer just because I've played much more in depth and large MMO's.

Despite this though it was a fun timekiller for a day or so, great graphics also, it is definitely worth trying.

Played Maplestory for a while, another huge game by Nexon. I took a look at it, but eh, never really been a fan of the whole "Cash Shop" game model. It ends up being more than monthly payments and there are better games out there with monthly payments.

 

Nothing original and just a carbon copy of every other MMORPG out atm it seems.

 

I liked PSU, I played this but after like 3 days it just became way too repetative for me.

 

Same, I felt like the type of game was acceptably on Xbox as it really is all you can do for a console MMO, but when you take it to the computer it just isn't satisfying at all.

 

i still liked PSO on dreamcast more =p.

 

Meh got my account to level 41 and it got redundant. And there isn't a open world for you to roam.
