Gp_Family - Leader scams.

So I know someone, in game, who used to help run Gp_family
He showed me these screenshots.





Not all merch clans are the same.
Bla_Saige433 is "Swell" on powerbot.

 

Always knew he was a faggot. Thanks. Never trusted that clan, and thankfully, with this new updated coming. No-one else will have to. Ever.

He's been reported like 20 times on powerbot, never with enough proof.

And merch clans will not die.
Ge will exist. So will merch clans.

Well, depending on how the GE functions, merch clans may or may not exist. From the information they've released it sounds like the GE will be like an auction (I think). I don't remember the exact words and how they put it but my guess on how the GE will work is along the lines of putting and item in the GE then having a certain amount of time until it sells, or put it in for a price and wait until someone is willing to pay that price.

I think it will be harder to have merch clans with the "new" GE comes out. Just my thoughts though, not saying I know that it's going to be like this.

they're going to have reccomendation prices which will no doubt be manipulated by members of the game...

 

Jagex said buying limits will still be in place, so merch clans will still have a foothold.

 

I wonder what the future of merch clans will be. Since the clan can't really override free trade that much. Might be like the old days, where they would have to drive it up manually...

Seems like the current merching scheme depends on a very limited change per day thus throttling the supply.

 

Bla Saige433 scammed the leader of GP Family out of a few phats. Weren't they both co-leaders as well at the time? That's pretty sad for both of them, probably worse for Bla Saige433 'cause he scams both the public and his friend.

 

Merch clans won't exist on the same level they do today.

The only thing they could possibly do is buyout items and then as a clan start selling them at above street price in an attempt to set a new price.

They can no longer drive up the prices of items buy buying them out and there's not to many items that the above method would work with because junk is now going to be worthless and other supply will just get botted and sold cheaper. They could in theory buyout the majority of a rare like green masks.

 

I haven't been following Runescape lately, so can someone catch me up as to why merching clans won't be the same?

Gp_family are a whole bunch of losers. They tried to sell many ranks but only a few bought and they ended up being scammed n the end. Apparently they broke some rules and were kicked as well but i highly doubt it.

I got a new Xbox at my moms house for Christmas, so that's the only thing I've been on. I completely quit paying attention to Runescape. This is good news though.
