Donor Ranks

No Support. I think it is fine now. Lots of effort has been put in to them already.

I understand that, but that's $300, and there's not many people that will donate that much.

I understand that, but some people play WoW, Diablo, Minecraft, or do Graphics, or simply come here for the Off-Topic section. It's like we're leaving people out, just because they don't play RuneScape.

Never said purchasing ranks. I'm not making a big deal about this, I'd just like to have everyone be included since they're the ones donating.

 

I think the website is primarily for Runescape, but maybe it would be kind of cool if you had like a drop-down menu of whatever rank picture you wanted =]

 

That'd be to disorganized. One specific rank for one specific group.

 

It's not that easy to make something like that, not to mention the fragmentation the site would appear to have in terms of ranks. So many permissions and whatnot would have to be dealt with and I can't imagine what a nightmare that would be.

What we need is a single set of generic and professional donor ranks.

I agree with this man above me, I think we should be happy enough that we donated to keep a website we enjoy up and running over the small rank we get.

 

Do you not get it though? I'm not purchasing the rank. Though it is giving a generalization that EVERYONE that donates plays runescape. Half the people don't, they come for different sections. I think it'd just be nicer if we had ranks that didn't revolve around runescape, even though this is mainly for it.

I think it's fine the way it is. I don't assume people play RuneScape because of their ranks, nor should you.

I don't assume they all play runescape. This website is primarily for runescape, but that's only maybe ~60% of the people that come here JUST for runescape?

 

I don't like the $5 rank. I do play RuneScape though.
I think they are fine the way they are, but if I could have my legacy rank from my other account put on this one (even though i've donated on both) i'd be a happy man.

Looks good, but Minecraft isn't big here yet (hopefully it becomes more popular). I really think we should get some generic ones that don't relate to any certain game if you know what I mean.

 

Definite support! Maybe with only RuneScape and a more generic ranking?

 

I Agree; I think you should put like Xbox box symbol in one for Xbox Related Mod or somthing? Mincecraft, a Minecraft symbol. Different Symbol for each Section.
