I think the best thing to do would be to go into the wild.
(seller buys the armor that equal to the amount of cash the buyer is buying)
Buyer pretends to pk seller. There you go money transferred, with a little bit of acting jagex doesn't stand a chance

 

using the ge like now and it should be a little bit easier with max and min limits removed altho the 4 hour limits are still there

 

Seller buys items with the money (items that are stable and easily sold without loss) and then "randomly donates" these items to the buyer. Buyer can then sell the items and tada, he has his coins.

With a bit of nonsense chat thrown in I think this would be completely safe.

 

I guess that sellers or REALLY frequent buyers are really going the one at risk...
I'm sure that Jagex wouldn't be bringing FT back if they didnt think of a way to detect a large % of RWTers.

Account A is selling a junk item such as a juju vial for 300m in ge
Account B buys a juju vial for 300m
will account A get 300m for the juju vial?

They didnt bring free trade knowing about transfers, they just dont care as soon as ppl come back to runescape

tbh, especially on feb 1, i have no idea how they will detect rwting. there will be an unfathomable amount of trading, both low and high value, going on upon this release. i doubt they will be able to pick out each rwt case.

 

Of course that would be happen on the 1st of February, but what after let's say 2 weeks after things settle down and people who wanted to xfer have finished doing so? Some people will die and loose items/cash so they might need to buy more gold. As there are not as many trades as fen 1st jagex might be able to detect some of the trades (especially large ones).

I'm really really hopeful that the GE will be a popular method. For example, you put some uncommon item that most likely no one is selling and most likely no one is buying on the GE (preferably something low priced) for much more than it's worth.

For example, you could get a random item such as a papyrus. First you put in an offer to check if it's buying, then an offer to check if it's selling. If neither offer goes through, you're golden. The account buying the GP puts the papyrus in the GE for an odd amount, close to what is being sold/bought. For 350M you could put 350,021,847, for example. Then the account who is selling the GP puts in an offer for papyrus for the exact same amount.

Probably too complicated and risky but oh well.

This is the first thing I came up with when I heard about free trade. You could try first selling a papyrus for like 5m and see if it works just to not risk 300m. This could actually work

 

Since Jagex changed general stores from the unlimited stock system, they prevented wealth transferral that way by making the buying price the g e medium price, which will still be there, and therefore making the method null :/

Buyers and sellers are nearly NEVER the same combat level.
And I don't think anyone would take 500m in level 50 wild.

 

Just trade account to account. Jagex aint that good.

How do you know it will still be there? Players control the pricing after the 1st.

 

Im pretty sure the GE can only be used as a price checker for items in general, if im wrong then im sure people will be selling uncommon items at ludicris prices looking for xferers.

 

I'm just gonna drop trade, honestly I never got banned for it before wildy and I wont now. Just make sure your transactions are small, I know it wow when you send someone a gift thats like 100gold+ it takes forever to get to the other person because they check those things before they go through. I think Jagex might do the same thing.
