96 Herblore.

What's the point in getting 96? If you have the money I can understand, but why not just 92? I'm currently botting herblore, making serum 207's getting 92. It's only going to cost me about 70m, 96 would cost about 110m so why spend a extra 40m when you can get overloads at 92.. Just curious as to why people get 96 and then complain about being broke.



And sure, it makes making overloads a lot quicker but is it really worth the extra 40m?

 

What does having high herblore provide for anyway? Besides of course being able to make your OWN potions

 

Overloads? Which are great for almost anything PvM related.

Oh, thought you can buy overloads in the GE.... And another question with a high herblore level , how much gp can you make in an hour? Sorry to get so off track but, never really understood high herblore level until now.

Most people cba getting spices, i myself dont care and got ovls at 91. Then did effies for 93 lol. much easier for ovl at 93 though

 

herb cape is rare too. dont see many with it

 

pain in the ass getting spices and getting one to boost you +5.

i was 91, it sucked. 92 would be alright though, i got heaps of +4's

 

96 is that much closer to 99.

Because 92-99 is another 150m? Lol.

 

You need 96 for overload.

 

Everything past Saradomin brews are untradeable.. and herblore is an expensive skill to train, you make no profit. Otherwise you'd see a million people with 99 herblore seeing as it's one of the most useful skills in the game.

You could've figured this all out just from looking at the game guide, btw.

On topic:
Because getting spices is annoying? 40M isn't a huge amount. Unless you're the kind of person who makes like 150k/h, 40M really doesn't take that long to get and having 96 or 99 herblore is a hell of a lot cooler than 92. You could apply the same logic to anything that doesn't have a high level requirement.. such as fletching, the highest level requirement is like 85? Yet people still train it to 99.

 

You can evil stew for +6 herb boost

 

as answered before 96 herb is very convenient so you dont have to get those peasky evil stews for a boost

 

With herblore, you almost always lose money.

 

Unless you clean herbs. There can be profit.
