Ex staff members should not be pardoned.

Under no circumstances can I see value in an ex staff member who has been demoted, banned and disgraced be pardoned.

The status of a staff member, ex staff member, middleman and such should be completely prohibited from pardoning offences - even if the debts are repaid.

I’m not going to go into details about why this shouldn’t happen because it’s very self explanatory, similar to ex offenders never being allowed to work back at the bank vault, it’s just an accident waiting to happen, their ex staff status will be thoroughly abused. Through my research on this it’s clear @Sythe woudn’t put his money where his staff members mouths are, so in my view the community should be allowed to make this decision.

Maybe make this post on your main sythe account and it might carry some weight. Everyone deserves a second chance it seems they have a pretty decent method for denying and approving pardons so no real reason to change anything especially if the pardon approval if voted on by multiple individuals.

Also if your posting a suggestion you should get into details to support your suggestion or really no use in posting one eh but then again posting details might give away who you actually are so =( .

 

I’ve been active on epicnpc for a lot of years. Active on the neopets society for a long long time. Just because you think you’re elite because you pay to use the site and have been here for a long time doesn’t take away from other people’s opinions.

everyone deserves a second chance, but I believe you’ve forfeited the right to use an ex staff account once you’ve broken the rules whilst in service.

perhaps a pardon should result in you having to make an entirely new account.

I totally respect that. I do feel that the title ‘retired staff member’ or ‘ex staff member’ would hold some significance though.

I just think that a disgraced staff member who broke rules shouldn’t have the same title as someone who actually retired honourably as a staff member. That should be stripped completely. I’d for sure trust an ex mod, if you click the ex mod title it doesn’t divert you to a link as to why they’re no longer staff, it doesn’t indicate whether they stepped down or whether they were forced to resign due to deception, scamming or otherwise.
