    Question about scamming.

What I been wondering is, if I send someone money over Western Union for a Runescape account and I get scammed somehow, is there any possible way to push legal actions toward them, like filing fraud or something? I heard you can go to the police about it and get them screwed up, but other people say they can't do anything? So someone care to help me out, just curious.

    Question about scamming.

But you've agreed to Jagex rules and it's illegal to sell/buy runescape accounts

    Question about scamming.

You can file a chargeback/claim for the money. I dont think the Interntet Crime center works becuase of the Jagex rules.

    Question about scamming.

With Western Union, you can't really charge back or anything, with paypal you can.

You can try to press charges, but you probably won't get your money back. Ever. There's a reason people use western union.

If its <$100 you defiantly shouldn't even bother. If its over a grand then you have a better chance.
