    Question about scamming.

What I been wondering is, if I send someone money over Western Union for a Runescape account and I get scammed somehow, is there any possible way to push legal actions toward them, like filing fraud or something? I heard you can go to the police about it and get them screwed up, but other people say they can't do anything? So someone care to help me out, just curious.

    Question about scamming.

I kind of doubt there is much that the police can do. What you have got to remember is that the people that scam you could possible live in an entire different continent from you and it will really be out of their hands. What you could do is possible file a chargeback, but I'm not entirely sure if that's even possible with western union.

Really the best advice that I can give is to just not get scammed in the first place. I know that most people eventually get scammed by someone, but take the appropriate precautions. Trade with people that you know and you know you can trust. If you do this then it will be much less likely that you will even get scammed in the first place.

    Hope this helps!
