Help me bring me up to date on ranging

So with the return of free trade I wanna start duelling with my pure again.
But I haven't played in like 5 years so I'm a little behind in knowledge of items.

I got 88 range and a def of like 40.

What items should I get? Heard something about a packpack which retrieves arrows.

I think people use Magic Shortbow and switch to a Rune Crossbow with Dragon (e) bolts in PVP, but I'm not sure.

 

The backpack is basically ava's attractor/accumalator/something else i can't remember. It is a quest reward, each upgrade requires a different quest

 

Attractor = Animal Magnetism with Range < 50
Accumulator = Animal Magnetism with Range => 50
Alerter = Do No Evil

I can afford Zaryte but I doubt it's worth it :\

 

First off I would like to say I respect you a lot for hidden reasons pm me fi you wish to know.

2nd Zaryte bow is a Very strong bow and has unlimited ammo it is defo worth it just not now wait for it to drop

Ava accumulator is a quest it retrives like 80% of your arrows

What is your range level I can tell you the best way to get it up.

What are the unlimited arrows compared to? Runite, addy, dragon?
