The quest for Safe Mode

So i've been searching and searching. Apparently, it's there somewhere:

I held S during the loading screen, but it didn't work. Now i'm searching through my settings and the software mode is no where to be seen. Does anyone else play in Safe Mode? I just prefer that layout, and I wanna play -_-

 

I play in safe mode....
holding the S key while loading a signed applet worked for me.. now it's cached that way.

 

Hm. I just figured out that the option is there, but it still doesn't change this:



I just want the regular top bar and bottom bar layout, and I heard Safe mode allows that.

 

that's resizable screen mode.
in the previous screen change it to FIXED.

Wow. Thank you VERY much! I never knew this, I haven't played rs for about 448 days lmao. That was so simple, it's kind of embarrasing lol.

Also, if my laptop is able to run all the high detail settings, is it worth it? I want to be as lag-free as possible, so I have every setting turned down. As for my connection, it's also on a LAN line.

 

It looks nice, but sometimes I like to have minimum just for the nostalgia
It's personal preference.

 

I run it in the lowest detail even though my comp can handle maxed out
I just prefer the primitive graphics for a game like scape XD

 

Yeah, that is another reason I have it all on the lowest settings, for nostalgia reasons. Now only if they can change back the HP.....

 

Agreed. I hate the new HP or "Constitution".

 

Set your screen from "Re-sizeable" to "fixed"
