Who's pumped for World 2? Think it will be back?

I remember the good ol' days. Hopping over to world 2 to buy some new armor, buying masses of runes and arrows. We all remember the "spots" where barrows was sold, furys, runes, arrows, herbs, pots. Personally, i hope World 2 becomes what it used to be. It was a stable economy, and wasn't manipulated by "merch" clans. So who's excited for this possible comeback!!???

 

It wasnt manipulated the same way but mercher was there. I remember with my friends buying as many oby cape we were able then sell it 20-50k higher again and again.

 

Yeah, thats normal merching, but for example, you wont buy an obby cape one day for 300k, and a week later have them selling for 500k.

 

GE should dissapear. Hopefully it will some day.

 

I really hope it would. It messed up runescapes "economy" reaallly bad.

 

the g/e totally is gonna screw up the w2 trading.... people are gonna trade in g/e on w2 and not fally

 

If people go back it will come back. you cant just wait for people to go there you have to do it yourself and get people to come. You will see me there.

Meh. I know it'll come back.. But I hope G.E. stays for awhile, and is still somewhat popular. It's just easier to sell/buy the odd item or two.. But I'm sure w2 will be back in full swing

 

I doubt it will be at fally. I hope so, but I doubt it. They will just stay at the ge. Damn 08ers

 

Ge will still exist, and there will be no need for a W2 section any more than it is needed now. Not much will change.

You'd prefer standing in w2 and spamming for 3 hours rather than instantly getting what you need?

 

Ppl will trade around the g.e I dont see ppl walking to fally to now.. With all the new players.

 

I hope everything will revolve around that area again but I'm starting to think it will be based around the G.E.

Why do I keep hearing "people won't trade at fally because of all the new players/'08 ers". I'm a player from '06 and I'm not prepared to go to falador to buy some stuff and spam "buying this" or "selling this" for 10 minutes when I can get an item instantly on the grand exchange. Sorry to say but the old days are long and gone. Fally world 2 has no reason to come back to its original state. Merchanting there will have changed alot too with the 'guide prices' that exist now. Many people would feel they are getting somewhat ripped off selling far below this price or buying for far above this price. There's just no need to do trades with the trade screen any more. The grand exchange is a much more efficient option. Any trades that do happen with the trade screen I can see staying at the ge.

 

Players will never, ever fully control the economy again simply due to jagex stating one specific peice of information "the grand exchange will still remain"
Sure the STREET prices of items like rares, new items ect ect..will be controlled by the public as they are now, BUT anything old/materialistic will still be consumed in a usual manner. The early days of runescape are long and gone people.

 

i used to love going too world 2. i was never rich enough to buy anything decent back then. but now i can afford some nice things once free trade is dropped
