Party Hat Question

I currently have a offer in for a Green Phat at the moment and it appears on the forums and in W2 that yellows, and greens are currently bought out. Based on current prices and the update coming for free trade do you suppose I would be able to grab a red or green for around 550M?

I see mixed emotions every where I read. Some say they will rise some say they will fall. Thanks for any information you guys might have. ^_^

 

Don't buy one. It was just a merch clan thats manipulating the prices again, they'll drop very soon.

Partyhats will lose their value when free trade comes back.

you obviously don't know the rares market, no all phats will not "crash" the purple and yellows are only thing that will fall below the current ge price

greens MIGHT go beneath it but doubt it, red whites and blues will have insane prices just watch

 

You're obviously an 08' prod. Phat's are going to be at their highest peak since 07'.

As for the OP. I'd buy one when the trade limit is taken off. It's going to do nothing but go up.

Once free trade comes out all these hoarders/merchants/most owners that have bought the party hats will try to sell them for more. I am assuming 95% of p hat owners hold them for the profits in some extent at least. I would also assume because of this that there would be more sellers selling for a high amount of money and not enough buyers. There would also be a lot of these merchants on feb 1 trying to get an absolutely amazing deal and get a p hat cheaply. Therefore you can assume that the current prices of green and yellow p hats, although currently "bought out", will not continue to stay at this price. I honestly can not see a red p hat going above 600m, green going above its current ge price, and yellow even staying close to its current ge price. All those people with blue p hats are gonna try selling for 1.5bil each or around that much I assume? Who is going to pay it? I would not pay any more then 900-1bil for that, and even still I think that may be slightly high. I think these buy outs for at least up to green, possibly even red are just temporarily artificial prices. All of it now is just hype. You may see an initial rise on feb 1, but how long can they keep these prices? I'm going to assume they will fall after that hype is over, then eventually rise back up as time goes on of course.

This is just my opinion on the p hat market currently. I don't own a p hat, but I am looking to buy one once free trade is out. And to the people saying they will rise, please provide information or logic as to why these will rise without saying "They are rares, they will always rise". This is only true in the long run, not the short term.

Anyway, if you're looking to buy one, it is safer to wait until free trade, party hats can lose value in the short term, coins can not. You are much safer to wait.

Lol 07 was the year Phats went crazy to be honest, it will be the same when free trade is back. My reason being the more people have the cash to buy one which will make it harder to find the ones who will sell. Phats are normally bought to keep or merchant forcing the price to keep rising.

 

What is with everyone using '08 prod or '09 prod, honestly, it's like the word noob all over again. The truth is prices will most definitely drop when free trade comes out. Initially (as in the first week or two), they might be inflated extremely high, but that's all hype, and no one is actually going to pay that much.

In the end, no one knows, all we can do is make unbacked (not a word) predictions which mean nothing.

True but they can't keep rising forever, merchants will sell their stock of party hats and that day is feb 1st. Party hats can't stay extremely high priced for long.

I think the current buyout will be temporary, at least of purples and yellows.

I managed to get rid of mine, and I'm pretty glad I did.
I will be buying a green or red after free trade, as I now have more cash than I've ever had before lol.

 

All rares will drop, then rise in a few months.

 

I think it would be smart to put an offer in for a few m above lowest, then you can just resell a few hours later for quite a bit more.
