WHAT IF this whole operation is all JaGeX ... Gold4rs = JaGex .. USfine = JaGeX .. All DECENT bot sellers = JaGeX .. They took down rsbot because they aren't JaGeX. What if they're all making us buy into this game and the money all goes back to them in the end?. Just a thought. lol This thread made me think of this .. I'm almost POSITIVE this isn't true, but what if it was..

It's possible, you never know. JaGeX is a business, they do what they can for the $$$.

 

If they were from Gold4rs, wouldn't they just ban your account for RWT?

 

I've actually thought about this before aswell, major botting sites are actually jagex themselves. Then when you get nailed for botting and they have solid evidence even though they're not showing it to you. They really do have evidence lol.

No ... They wan't you to keep buying more gold.
They don't ban you until you stop buying gold.
They need the time to have "sufficient evidence" that you broke the rules.

...This is when you make a new account and buy a bot or powerleveling ... and then buy your gold again on your new account. It's all a big cycle.

 

Ya, Jagex spent a shit ton of money suing itself over legal issues just to make sure no one realizes this.

Jagex IS all about money. They have their own clothing store, advertisements on f2p, ect. All Jagex do is make bank. I wouldn't be suprised if they open a gold shop in the near future..

 

Personally if i owned Blizzard or Jagex, My number 1 goal would be to make money, Why not offer on your site to purchase Items/Gold Imagine the money you as a business would make. And what would it cost you as the business? nothing there was a game i played cant remember but you could buy in game item and money and it would Automatically be sent to you.

Just my opinion if a business is truly out to making money.

 

Okay.. Heres my theory, jagex bans all these noobs for botting but then most people quit the day after they say account cant be recovered.. Thus meaning that runescape wont make some dough because they lost a customer... If they where those stupid botting sites why would people still report them for scamming?

Lol but seriously tho, like I said in the OP, I doubt this is true but it does kind of make sense.

 

If Jagex sold RS money and items then a lot of people would purchase and eventually items would be worth an extreme amount. Those who would choose not to purchase anything from Jagex would find it difficult to survive. The economy would become ruined.

 

I am not speaking as the RS Economy, i am talking about in the eyes of a business ONLY, Its All about money money money...

 

I don't think so. But i do believe in my own opinion that jagex doesn't care about their players. they'll put out any crappy update that they want.

 

And on another note, i am sure there would be a limit of gold they would sell, and items that would not be offered to Buy, Such as Rares, Items no longer being put into the game, and most High End items

Yeah i dont think would be possible anyways. jagex is located somewhere in the UK and as some have realized the dealers from some of those sites cant even speak English.

 

This. Plus, why would they have taken out the Wildy and Free Trade to begin with? They lost a lot of membership money off that. They wouldn't have thrown that much money away if they didn't have to.

I to be honest believe this, as they are making RWT easier. And Botting harder. You kill the botters, whom spend money and they will spend it somewhere else aka gold.
