What was this Starship Trooper movie? help :)

Hey, i loved the original starship troopers and think it was one of the best action/gore/horror type movies ever made, alot of fun to watch to.
late night tv, i stumbled across what looked like starship troopers (had roughly same characters and same bugs etc etc.)
it was SHIT. i was just wondering if this was starship troopers 2 or 3, and im probably going to watch 3 tonight as there is a 4'th movie in the making which i think has the potential to be awsome.

funny how the bugs in 1997 looked far better than in the second one, which was made like 8 years later

 

The original is the best. I think it's an awesome watch.

 

Most likely the second one. That one was the worst IMO.
