    with

    60/75/70 attack or higher.

    85-99 str

    and range level/mage level

    and 13+ prayer

    you will not gain levels from defence untill you hit 5.

    just saying.

    It's not just that they think it will raise their combat level its the fact that it doesn't look as good and the thought that it could have been perfect which makes them a bit upset. I don't see your logic, whining about people whining about 2 - 4 def.

    1 looks better but in the end you will want max defence coz it wont affect combat.
    its like wearing cool looking rs clothes instead of wearing armour for the bonus, not worth it...

    It adds partially to a combat level, so it still affects it.

    Players like to keep it at level 1 because they are pures. I don't think having a defense level above 1 makes it a pure.

    It's not about affecting the combat level dude...at least most of the time.

    I just doesn't look pure but it is if your 99 hp and u get like 4 deff it wont matter if ur 98 hp and u get 4 deff itll matter.
