Death without a skull above your head: you retain the usual three items when you die. These three items are the ones with the highest market value in your inventory and worn inventory

Interesting, the highest market value thing wasn't the case before.

Indeed, but I am happy about this. I hated it when I died and I lost something with a higher high alchemy value then something with a higher market value.

if they have 500m on them, still lose all but 3gp. no biggie tbh

 

that's very true, I'm assuming that a lot of people are going to be trying and abusing and victimizing the players that never played before the free trade ban

 

Yep Yep Yep Torchic, its ok, in my mind we are teaching them a lesson. Its like instead of spending countless hours in the shallow end trying to teach a kid to swim, you just chunk him in the deep end. Yes, its probably psychologically damaging, but you would be surprised at how fast people can learn to swim. That way, they get there noob-phase over with quickly and begin to become good experienced runescape players. Were doing the community a service, but we request no thank-you's, knowing im helping make the world a better place is thanks enough, lol.


EDIT: OH yea, also is that true about the way "kept items" work? Because one of the fun things i was going to do kind of relied on nooblets keeping items based on high alchemy value, not "guide price" value. Will lost items be based on high-alch or guide value? And if someone knows the answer a link plox?

 

I'm almost positive that it will stay as the alchemy value, as that only makes sense. Even the messed up pvp we have now uses alchemy value, don't see why they will change it.

 

Now if I get banned for RWTing I can say that I was giving my friend a gift

Once activated, the prayer and curse allow you to protect one additional item when you die; so, if you are skulled, you will retain one item on death, while you will retain four items if you die while not being skulled. On High-risk Wilderness Worlds, you cannot use the Protect Item prayer or curse in the Wilderness, making them an especially dangerous place to player-kill.

If u read carefully, familiars are not counted into combat level. Thats means everyone is gonna be using pack yaks. Hybriding is gonna turn into 2 99 summoning dueling it out with pack yak

 

pack yak? im just happy that my maxxed pure lvl 88 will now be lvl 88 WITH A STEEL TITAN!!! lol its completely unfair but i dont care cuz its unfair in my favor, LOL.
