[Denied] Regarding DNTs

As some of you are well aware there is a heavy presence on this forum of people advertising gambling sites. My proposal is quite simple, if a gambling site account is DNT’d/Banned. All the people currently advertising that site in their name, title, signatures etc. should be given a time period to remove said site. Otherwise this gives ample opportunity to simply circumvent the DNT by using 3rd party advertisers.

this does not just have to cover gambling affiliates but ALL discords/websites linked to banned/DNT’d user(s)

while there may already be a rule in place that covers this, I feel it would potentially stop a lot more issues arising for people who are being diverted to said site through 3rd parties.

 

Somewhat agree, I remember back some time ago there was a guy who owned a gambling website if I recall correctly who turned up at a Sythe staff members work/house and the same with another guy who I believe was Dropperz or something (this was a good few years ago) who did something similar but on the forums and pissed off @Sythe himself

I understand in some cases it's best to not DNT/ban them, but if history is repeating itself then it's not worth the risk. We as advertisers essentially are assisting a DNT/banned user at that point, who is clearly a risk to the community as a whole. And I know when you're banned, your banners at the top/bottom of Sythes forum get removed so this at least in serious cases shouldn't be any different

- Also please remember you need to remove any traces of being able to invite people to banned users servers, like how we can (i've reported previously MANY OF TIMES) with the user titles..

 

and this is exactly why I think it would be a good implementation. removing all traces of potentially leading someone to a malicious trader is the end goal here.

 

Yeah I get you, Ace Services look at his user title, although he deleted his server we're still able to click it as if the link was still there...

It's not even like it just stops there either, the continued mockery of the forum at the expense of us continues

A good idea. I think it may protect users from falling into the hands of members who have been banned and making them prey in the hands of these criminals.
