Do you use drugs? If so why?

Ok I've been around the block probably more then alot of people.

I've messed with Acid, shrooms, 2c-e, DMT. Probably any psychadelic you can think of. I used to be a heavy dust (Coke) user in high school. And I used to smoke weed alot.


I've changed all that and have been clean for the past year.

I got tired of my mind feeling clouded and the way people looked at me and thought how stupid I was.


Now, I look at people that ask me to smoke or constantly talk about smoking (Weed for the newfags that think i'm talking about a cigarette) and wonder why they like feeling that way?

I've asked many people and they all have the typical response saying "I like how it makes me escape and makes my mind feel relaxed and chill"

'So to cut all the bullshit, we are on an internet forum, you don't have to try to act like the biggest stoner on here, just be truthful.

What makes you use drugs? Why?

 

I use weed...
To escape reality, stress, fear, and anxiety. It's a reliever but i'm not one of those people who use it like WHERE THE HELL IS MY WEED!?!?!?!
I am casual, and no I don't go broke from it either. I ocasionally use it.

I haven't taken any 'bad' drugs and wont.

 

smoked a juicy (weed + coke) before just to see how it was like.

 

But does it really help you escape?

(Depends on the circumstances Ex: where you were, when you smoked, how much you smoked etc)

I usually do it in my room, I relax and just take time to think. I do enough just to get high, and I do it at night.
It helps me clear my mind of all the things that have been done.

It scientifically proven that some drugs make you feel good. It's not much more complicated then that; it just makes one feel good.

People look down on drugs because one is doing something that can hinder some aspects of life, and it may be doing harm to their bodies.

 

I've been doing ecstasy alot, even during school. Why do it? I get bored at school, and i love how it feels, honestly.

 

I smoked pot a few times, that's pretty much the summit of my drug usage.

 

But why do you have to resort to that to feel good?

People shouldn't care what others do with themselves, unless it effects them.

 

Look at it this way, we have certain receptors in our brain that react to drugs, like opioid and cannabinoid receptors, our brains are hard-wired to have these feelings from substances.

It's natural, even some animals in the wild use drugs (monkeys love alcohol, and certain large felines are known to eat psychedelics, but it's debated whether or not it's deliberate).

I personally think that drugs play a vital role in our evolution, which we've lost total contact with.

 

Because it's the best option.

Who is this directed to? It's not uncommon for people to want to discuss their substance use, there's entire communities built upon it with thousands of members. It's not for showing off, it's for connecting and educating yourself.

Do you do it recreation-ally or do you feel a desire that you have to do them?

I don't judge people that smoke as I used to myself and still get tempted occasionally.

 

That wasn't an opinion, more of a direct opinion on the purpose of my post, yet it had nothing to do with the thread. I don't remember asking if people cared that I used to use. I'm asking what it does for other people and why they like to continue?


If you don't have anything intelligent to add into the thread then leave. There is plenty of other threads to spam your post count up for a successful scam on sythe.
