New Member, needs help!

Hey guys, im shylo, and obviously from my post count you can tell im pretty darn new! I have a few questions about sythe.org in general, and ive been doing a bit of forum surfing, without any prevail! I dont even know if im meant to be posting about this topic here, but thats the whole point of the post, answers!

The situation : I have a very good pker that i have been making over the last 6ish years (was actually quite famous at one point, youtube ect) And I think its time to go back to staking when it gets re-released! Ide be looking to trade it for pretty much just gold, as gold takes time to farm... and ide rather spend that time, training up my newly appointed staker. Plus, gold leads to faster training etc etc.

The question : Ide like to know, the best way to go about getting a safe trade done, the steps ide need to do to the account to have it ready for trading, the info i would need to gather about the account (I have all the original details written down) and pretty much the best way with steps included to really get this done swiftly, and safely.

Finally : Im not a greedy person, i understand theres people here looking for the best deals, and trying to siv out the scammers and children... I meerly want SOME kind of money on my staker, and understanding the way runescape works, and staking works, the amount of money doesnt really need to be anything in particular, as once the staking begins... any amount of money can turn into alot, or just dissapear (if ur a gambler like myself, but thats besides the point!)... My account has passed its useby date, and it cant actually get any better... (Its a maxxed barrows pure) SO yeah, please be nice... i know it can be hard to help new ppl, as it seems 75 percent of this forum is banned haha. I can assure u im good hearted THANKS!

 

The safest way to trade on Sythe would be through an OMM.

 

Ive gathered that, but im still lost as far as the whole trade itself goes, and ide really like a kind of a quick "guide" so to speak, about how to really do it all.

 

go to the market section post your account details, bank, log in, stats, ect. then leave an email address, once people contact you and you find a good deal, contact plznate on these fourms and it will be a safe trade most likely.

 

You'd best be trading it to a trusted person, and making sure your information (accounts) gets verified, and proven the information you supply works on the account.

 

Heres how the trade would generally work. Using a highly trusted MM/OMM is your best bet.

1) You add both the buyer and the MM/OMM on MSN.
2) ASK FOR A PM, to confirm that the MM is who he/she says they are.
3) You give the MM your account information, ALL of it. Everything you have
4) The MM will see if everything adds up and that the buyer is receiving what is advertised.
5) The buyer sends you the money/trades you an item.
6) The MM provides the buyer with your information
7) Trade done.

Welcome, be careful who you trade with. If your talking to someone on msn ALWAYS ask for a PM on sythe, there are a lot of imposter's.

 

-OMM.
-Always get a Pm.
-Always talk on MSN.
-Make sure in the event you get scammed, take pics of all your Msn convo's, paypal too.
-Try to trade with a trusted person. One with a good amount of vouches.

Thanks heaps guys, it makes sense now I guess i should wait until the new update comes before i sell it tho... Howbout like, finding out howmuch its worth?... Ive seen a HUGE fluctuation in price between accounts that i personally thought were good and some that werent, with pricing that doesnt really match.

I mean we all know what a maxxed barrows pure is, how should i go about getting a good price?

 

Depending on the combat level (I'm assuming it's 100+), check out the 100-138 Pures/Skillers section and look for accounts similar to yours. That should give you a guessable price range.

Like all those guys said before. Use a middleman, make sure the recovery questions are taken off, post all the details about the account. It's better to be safe than scammed. Good luck.
