Requesting rule change - GFX Section

Because i cannot see any downsides to having vouches for Sig sales, could someone point them out?

At this time, I support this.

 

Sadly, We have suggested this SO many times. It takes as much trust as a pin sale does (before the change).

I support. Why wouldn't you vouch for someone for making a Graphic Design? People take time to do these. By vouching after completion of a paid GFX/Free GFX, is just one small way to thank them.

 

For paid GFX work, sure. You're putting trust into the other member just like you are for any other service.

 

I support. I think the person making the sig/thread layout deserve a vouch because the person buying is trusting the person to make it and to give them quality work, As well as not stealing their money.

 

No support. There is no TRUST gained for GFX. All you do is make a picture. You do not risk anything!

 

All you do for other things is make pixels? No trust is involved! You're paying for time.

See the logic in that? Heres a scenario

Person A is selling graphics

Person B is buying graphics

Person A makes his graphics and shows a watermarked version of it to person B, Person B either declines or accepts if he/she accepts it person B sends Person A the money. Person A can either run off with the money or give person B the non-watermarked graphics.

 

I saw the sticky a while back and questioned it. GFX sales should allow vouching.

 

Ummm, what if they say "I won't send you an unwatermarked version until you pay first." Then you pay them, and they log off and block you? Vouching will give credit to that person that he didn't scam the trade.

 

Why would you run off with graphics that you made for someone ells, what use would you have for with them lol? The rule should stay the same in my opinion.

 

Support providing money is exchanged.

 

A signature that you would like to use yourself. Not all graphics works are done by request too.

yeah i support this too it seems a tad odd

 

I've done many $50+ jobs in around 5 months of doing graphics on this site. and a couple $100+. Go look through the market. People are doing FREE services on BRAND new accounts for people and getting vouches for it.


@The newfag comment: Those who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones.

 

Vouches are only worth what they contain.

I don't see why vouching for GFX work should be looked down on.

 

I support...the sticky is a bit ridiculous.

If someone posts a downside I will re-think however at this time this has my support.
