Julian Assange, Australias Worst Bloke?

Today whilst on my trip I heard a report about the recent conclusion to the "Australians most un-australian person" the report was topical as Australia Day - an anniversary day to when Australia was founded was coming to the near. The report including results such as Kevin Rudd - former prime minister, Julia Gillard - current prime minister and a handful of other people. Assange was called out at first place, as I've heard, the vote was conducted within the walls of the company or whatever you want to label it. It shocked me actually as I've idolised Assange and his courage to do what he has done. The content of his work doesn't really inter-twine with the well being of Australia. (Have to wrap it up quickly) But in general I support his actions of informing Americans of what happens behind closed doors in American politics and around the world.

Think of it this way If the PM of Australia supported the disruption of American "National Security" it wouldn't be good for diplomacy.
Personally however I believe that any leaked information obviously wasn't important enough to be kept safe.

 

Its never too good, to give anyone more power then needed, this could be used in the wrong way...but lets wait and see..
