Price Post 1st Feb?

Hey there - Im new to the forums (Literally just registered) and i was wondering.....

On my pre '07 RS account i have a small assortment of rares.

As im new to the concept of RWT. I cant really see much sense in me learning the current ways of transferring etc.

I was curious at to how much people would be willing to (roughly) pay for these items ($$) following the reimplementation of the beloved Free Trade;

Yellow
White

Easter Egg
Pumpkin

Santa.

probably like 450 for yellow, 550 for white (usd)

 

Stop throwing people off with these ridiculous prices. 450 for yellow and 550 for white? Get real.

Anyway, Trhodezy just wait and see what happens. No one knows what they'll be after free-trade but I assure you much more than "Returning Truth" predicts. Especially on the white.

 

i agree with danthex, its hard to put a price on something when there is no gp being traded aswell.

 

400$ yellow 1000$ white. Noone knows about lower ones, since many noobs are dumping them attm.

This belongs in Market Discussion, but my estimates are going to be:
After RWT gold = 0.5-0.75/mill

Most of the "higher level" merchants are giving an estimate for around 350-400M for Yellow, White is really fluctuating, and nobody really knows.

You'll be looking at 300 USD for the yellow.

My best guess for white would be around 1B? You'll be looking at around 750-800USD for the white.

Trh I'm a bit more experienced than the others that have posted..I can tell you that gold will not be .75/M ..it may dip down close to their on Feb. 1st because a lot of smaller-sellers will be selling it just because they can. However, the real permanent sellers (Gold sites, R2P, Plznate, etc) will be sellers for over 1$ for sure...I personally will kick off Feb 1st at 2$/M . ..also, you can't just calculate rares by their GE price/rare price, they are RARE, obviously. You get more than their value just because there are so few in the game. I'd watch prices and talk to some more experienced people in the rare trading game prior to making a sale.

Yep, gold being .75/mil would be way to cheap. No one would profit as much from buying/selling it. Nor botting it. Since it would take 10mil to make 7.50. No one would want to do that, too much effort for too little outcome. I'd go with you and say 2$/mil. As that was my first guess when I heard the "News" of it coming back.

 

Gold, with transfer is going for 1.6 right now, most of the big gold sellers buy their bulk gold for about 0.5-0.75...

Pretty sure that FT, which makes the transfer of gold easier, isn't going to raise the price

Too much cash is in the game now, these will all be bought out by stakers/merchants soon enough. A rebound is evident in the near future after the 1st.

Prices of mills are already 1usd per mill via some sellers on sythe, why would price increase after freetrade... you get real i dont see anyone offering more.

 

The only people offering 1$/M are those using a transfer method that involves a dungeoneering bug. Everyone that purchases it runs the risk of being banned. Viou uses a method that I'm aware of, which is safe, but it isn't very efficient if you haven't been stocking up on appropriate items for awhile, therefore even his prices don't dip under 1.2 . Other stable sellers are at 1.6+ ..so please, don't come here blabbing out rare occurrences acting like it is common custom.

 

When free trade comes back im bound to see more party hats and rare items then ever because so many of the old users who had them will be coming back. i can just imagine walking through the duel arena and seeing all the people wearing rares.

Eventually everyone will start buying out the rares and they will rise again thats what im predicting.
