Kinda given up... it was hitting 90c+ in the draw and i couldnt find propper drivers... so im trying with the laptop.. thread isnt dead yet :D

Hey. So this all started because my dad gets angry at me if I have the littlest of things plugged in. So I cant have my main comp plugged in cus it draws too much electricity aparently.. don't worry ive offered to pay for my electricity and he still wont budge.. so i have decided to put a computer in my bottom draw of my desk. These pictures will give you a small indication on what it all looks like so far. I will be making this a progress log of making my desk computer.

    GOALS
Install windows 7: Windows installed, Need to install drivers
make ventalation in the back of the draw: incomplete
Get a wireless keyboard and mouse: got them but not at the moment
Install all my bots and have my VPS up and running: way off

So a general idea at what your looking at:

Just my general workspace. Main computer is under the desk, new one for bots is on the left of my desk, 24 inch monitor ,g9x.. some random keyboard (girlfriend spilt water on my g15 ;/) jvc sound system and 5.1 channel logitech x-530's (in 7.1 channel)

You could always eat the laptop for dinner, and you can at least stay up for a few hours more.

I like how you were botting rc when you took the first picture, lol.

Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose, though? You dad can still see the computer is on just by looking at the monitor...

Good luck, seems like a fun little project. Tbh, if you don't put it in a case, you won't need that much ventilation...

    This is funny lol.
You need to clean your desk of the speakers. As they draw power also.
    Get headphones.
Get rid of your ipod, get a cell phone with mp3 player in it.
Get rid of your makeshift computer on your desk, use the laptop.
    OR
Get rid of makeshift computer, and laptop. Buy more ram, better processor, bigger hd. Just upgrade your main computer.
Take the bottom 3 drawers in your desk, take out the bottom board on each(That holds things in each drawer) and slide your computer in there.

    Problem(s) solved!@

Read the last part that I said.
Remove the panels that hold the crap in your drawers. And put your computer literally inside the desk.

Just do what I said, it's super simple. No need to make it hi-tech or anything.

Put holes in the back of the desk for the air flow.

Make a makeshift button(Simple, I think) to turn on/off the computer. So you don't have to open the front drawer panels anymore, so you can screw them in perm.
