Recovering my old hacked account

I used to have a level 136 account that I spent a lot of time on but it was hacked and lost last march. (About a year ago) Yesterday I tried again and the only reason it was denied was because "The information that was given wasn't enough to prove I was the original owner." It didn't have any thing like the old passes or recovs were wrong. Does this mean I have a chance and I should keep appealing or is it just a lost cause?

(I filled in every box for the recovery except for zip since I never put that in.)

Just try everything possible, try to check your logs on your PC. MSN logs or anything

dude u need 2 things to recover any account

creation date plus previous passwords get those right and yoiu will be able to recover you account

 

Just put in what you think you know, chances are if it was over a year ago the recovery's have changed. Honestly the only thing you need to recover an account is the very first password. With that you'r almost guaranteed to recover the account, unless you provide information that's incorrect like other passwords, recovery's, membership info, zip code ect.

 

I had both... I'll try again I guess. It would be a great late birthday present from jagex if I could get it back.

 

Old bank pins, proof of membership purchases (older the better, and multiple never hurts) Also the OLDEST recoveries you can think of, (put them in the other information) ip address', the email that paid for the membership.

You are quite close to recovering it.
Try out some creation dates / ISPS / adding old ip adress(es) in the white box.

 

Shit man. Same thing for me. I'm trying to get an account back. But it says the same information.
I'm putting all old ips. All old recover answers. Everything. And it's still getting the same reply! Pissing me off!

I have just sent another appeal in. I have filled in every box cept the zip code because I never gave them one. In the extra box I put 3 more passwords, my old bank pin and another set of recovery questions. If this doesn't work I don't know what will. I have all this info.. And it's also old info which I thought would help but I dunno any more...

 

If/when you get it back, make sure you make your password super freaking long and numbers included, lol.

 

It wasn't the password that was the problem. Some one got my recovery info and this was back when if you just had 1 or 2 things you would get the account. Cept it never worked that way for me... -_-

 

I got two of my old hacked accounts back. One was a pure, and the other was my old main from 2005. I got them back with WAY old information, and I didn't know the recoveries they set on them. I think what helped me was in the "more information" part, I told them the possible name of the first credit card on there. I am sure this helped, even though I had no CC number or verification number, because that was in 2005, but proving that I knew the names on the credit cards helped.

Try, see what you get, never hurts to make the attempt.

 

This happened to me and my old main. Try remembering what internet provider you had - even if it's not the IP. Try putting the truth in and when it got hacked, if you have ever gone on vaccation and used the account in that location. Sometimes you do have enough information to recover, and they just want the little details to make sure it's actually yours.

Ug... Said the same thing again. I doubt this will do much but I'll try emailing them and ask if they can read over my appeal and tell me why it was unsuccessful.
