Need Help - Experimenting With Different Types Of Accounts

Hello all :]

With Old PVP & Wilderness coming back, I'd like to try out some different account "types" (Like range tanks, obby maulers, etc.) I've never really been one to venture out of 100+ mains and WC skillers, so I'd like to see what's out there. I have really no idea what "range tanks" and whatnot are, so please explain them if you would

I'm trying to find the account type that is best for dominating in PvP. I have never really been a PKer, but now that old wilderness is coming back I thought I'd give it a try. Please post your suggestions below. I need as much knowledge as you can give me, seeing as I'm nearly clueless. I also need to know...


~ How much money will be needed to buy the equipment/items?
~ How long will it take to make a good one? (One that you would sell - though I'm not selling - not just a crappy one to fool around with)
~ Is there a fast and effective way to make money with the stats that this type of account would have?

Also, please give examples of the stats and equipment that you would put on it. No "a high strength level" please, I'm looking for specifics so I can be successful

IMO id use a obby mauler beserker necklace 70 strength is ownage not expensive at all

 

what about attack and defence levels? lol sorry im clueless about this >.<

I think zerk neck is like 2m not sure tho.

An obby mauler can hit high even with 1 def and att? Seems strange to me

 

it hits beast, go from knifes to maul KO its like BOOOYAH.

 

I don't suggest obby maulers as you will now need 25 prayer to protect your obby necklace and people don't risk much at level 40.

 

I personally think that P2P Range Pures ranging from levels 35-50 combat are the most fun, from there get strength, and so on.

 

What do you suggest?
And from what you said, i do agree. I'm trying to make as much as i can off pvp and to maximize i will ned a higher level.

You could make a range tank. I'll focus on what you would need for a ranged tank build.


75 Strength
75 Attack
99 Defence
99 Hitpoints
70 Prayer
99 Range
99 Mage

It will be insane if you could invest the time into it. It will be a long and hard progress, but easier if you bot and will dominate in pvp at the end of it. As far as money goes, I honestly couldnt give you a great way of money making, other than Sorcerers Garden. It works out at about 250-300k an hour.

The obby necklace enables you hit 20% higher with obsidian weapons.

There is no attack level required for the maul so why level it up. What you want to do is Get

40-70 range and use rune knifes then maul for the k0.

 

agreed. 90+ str 80+ range. range them a bit. k0 them with the obby maul
