Take my Character as someone who has trouble reading large walls of text.

Now, onwards.
I'm planning on receiving an Account for a Payment I have yet to transact.
Lets say, neither of us trust eachother, how do we prevent from getting scammed?
Now lets say, one of us trusts the other, how do we prevent from getting scammed?

-This scenario is more of a PayPal payment for the Account.
Although, my case is special, hopefully not anymore misleading, but I'm trading an Item, for the Account.

All posting contributions to anti-scamming will be greatly appreciated.

Moved this to the correct section for you. Next time, if you're not sure where to put a thread, just PM a moderator or ask someone.

 

If neither of you trust each other, then use an OMM which will take both account and money and will sent the money to the seller and account to buyer. This way, no scamming of any such is involved. Make sure, when you choose an OMM, you verify via Sythe PM so it's 100% that it's not an imposer.

To use a OMM, you have to pay but for MM, you don't. RSProd or Classic are free MM. Use either of them and you will be satisfied.

What's the diff between an OMM & a MM?

 

OMM = Official Middle Man ( they usually charge )
MM = Middle Man ( get a trusted one like RsProd or Classisc) they are free
