Safe Ways To Xfer when Free Trade is here

Ok so this guide is going to show you how to "safely" trade between accounts when free trade comes out. I cant guarantee it will work but i am sure if you play it safe and follow these guidelines you should be fine. Most of you might say "but Cro69, you can go to hell, i am just gonna trade all my money and they wont know" or "Cro69, how about you kiss my grits, Jagex has no method to find out how much we trade" yadiayouyadiayada. The truth is WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT JAGEX HAS PLANNED. With the Free trade coming back Jagex obviously has some underlining reason as to why they have done this. I fear the reason is to catch BIG transactions Via accounts. (100mil +). I think Jagex and Runescape is really "pissed off" so play it safe and follow this guidelines.

1. Don't use multi logon to trade between accounts, although this is really easy to do, i also think its the most risky. Runescape might be able to trace your IP and ban hammer your ass.

2. Don't just trade directly to another account, even in a crowed area. My biggest fear is that Jagex will monitor all transactions between accounts. And if they see account A has transfered 3453434154351 coins to account B. They might be knocking on your door and throwing a big ban hammer out your head.

Ok so those were the Do not's, i will now provide you two "safe" ways to transfer. Of course these are not full proof ways but i guarantee you will be much safer following these guidelines then those who do not.

1. Stake, Stake, Stake. Make it legit by challenging from account to account. Of course try to make it as legit as possible, maybe a bit of trash talk, or some harsh words or maybe even throw a snowball at each other :O. Anything that will make it legit. You do not have to do thiss but every little bit counts, and it will add to you defense if Jagex raises questions.

2. The good old quiting Runescape line. Pretty much Have the account with the money say they are "quiting" Runescape. Then have them transfer the money into the desired account. Again talking will make it more legit and even Having several other players following you asking for your sweet sweet GP makes it all that more legit. This is an example but i think would be good. Have the account with the money attract attention and get loads of people following. Eventually after you have enough people, announce you will give the money to the first account to type the following exactly. you can type anything but just make sure the account you want the money on wins lol. NOW you do not have to do this but like i said before the more safe and legit you are the less likely Jagex will raise questions and fling a nasty, rusty, nail filled ban hammer at you.

In conclusion. The above guidelines may be obvious to you, but not to others, so please no flaming.

Also i can not stress enough the importance of NOT using multi login. Or even using the same IP on different computers. At least do not to it to begin with, we really do not know what Jagex has planned and how bad would you feel if you got caught. Then all the Sythe forums would be filled with "ZOMG i got banned" or "FFS why didnt i listen to cro69".

In all seriousness we all want our gold transfered asap but is it worth losing your account. I really think some BIG GP sellers will be effected and caught. Thats just mu opinion.

or you could just drop your items/cash in a unpopulated area, e.g. buildings with second floors, dungeons, ect.

 

This is true TBH, that jagex has something planned under their sleeves, I was wondering why would they risk free trade all of a sudden when they have banned it to stop real world trading or even countering it.

So the reason they do this is because they want to check for Rwters who have been hiding under their sensors for a few years.

I like the quitting RS part, most definitely going to work probably.

 

You forgot to mention Conquest, the new Chess like minigame with staking.

Another one I would like to add...

"Buying - Item - For X (mills)" Trade them sell them the item, say thanks walk away... dont log off the other account directly..

"Heres the gp from the kill earlyer! We owned Bandos!"

"Paying X(Mills) for someone to buy X(amount) of items from ge for me! Im at limit!"

Just a few ideas I was thinking about, and when staking... Make sure both accounts stake the same amount.. IE- Player 1 stakes 100M Player 2 stake 100M Make the fight realistic.

 

That would be bad if jagex decided to trick Rwters and suddenly all their 500m is gone

 

thanks for your input guys. i really just wanted people to be aware that jagex may throw a little surprise. we can be so blind and go into this updating thinking "yay old runescape" casue we may get tricked !!!

@noob_sauce There is - But keep it REAL! Just walking out there, meeting an account and killing it without retaliation/running/trying to survive really makes JaGeX raise their eyebrows.

 

Jagex said you can give your friends gifts, just say your friend logged in at your house and gave you it.... simple.

 

Drops trade cant happen unless you multi log
in the FAQ section im 99% sure i saw a bit that that as soon as you drop an item and it hits the floor it become visable for everyone.

not how it used to be by having like a 30 second delay.

Very nice guide mate. The talking is definatly a key part. Even making the battle legit might be another option as well. Like make it so the losing account uses melee and winning account uses mage etc.
