Yeah, I just saw it. Originally it said "Wilderness will return!" OR maybe I'm dyslexic and didn't see free trade amid my tears of joy.

Very interesting. You have to add though that the amount of time you bot is also important. I once read from a moderator that they can see how much time are you playing, they flag your account for investigation if you "play" for ridiculous amounts of time without breaks.

@already over: Thanks, I agree that when BCEL is done correctly and not sloppily coded it is very efficient. However often it is sloppily coded and therefore much more detectable. As stated I don't believe that Jagex can detect BCEL in real-time (they can't just look at a screen and see that player A, B and C are using it). What they can do is pick out people who act like botters and have been reported as botters. They can then use reflection to and see if code was injected. I don't know how more modern BCEL clients work and if they become so well coded that this method no longer works.

Also I know very little about Assembly and Modscript methods of botting. How do these work and how do they compare to more mainstream botting methods?

I stumbled across this quote a while back and would again like to take the opportunity to encourage bot developers to obfuscate you bot-client's code. I have gotten comments from people about how it is illegal for Jagex to decompile a bot...this doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I love open-source software but this is the wrong area in which to apply it. Open source bots are just asking to be banned as Jagex will immediately learn how they pull data from the client and the method (usually hack) used to glean ID numbers, location coordinates, camera position, and other bits of helpful data.

Is rsbots.net now auto-updating their client?

All reflection based clients also use a method of reading the files, whether it be BCEL or ASM, to then interpret it. How do you think Nexus scripts are able to read things like stats without opening the stats tab? They use BCEL too, even though they might say they don't.

Technically they don't like because they say they use reflection. That doesn't mean they don't use BCEL but it's a way to get around words and get away with it.

I botted 99 mage on 3 accounts, not one single ban or blackmark. You just have to be smart about it. If you bot overnight you're just asking for a ban.

    Very good guide 5 stars.
I had a feelings this is how it is being controlled, as with the system from one place to another for analysis. Especially mouse movement/clicks is a big key in how they detect as I heard.

Thanks for bumping this guide back up wouldn't have found it before.

RiD bots are actually pretty conclusive to this theory (as possibly undetectable) at least with my experience they work amazingly well.

This is not so much revealed rather than it being your thoughts on the matter.

However i do think you could be onto something with the 60 seconds of information sent back.

About the input methods they record, you mentioned 'screen' i assume you mean the display area of the rs client? If so they do not record that....as that would be like a video.....a video of 100,000 + online users at once would need massive storage + bandwidth which is just illogical.
