AndJones has better standup, albeit Bader has more power.
Bones also seems to have better submissions.

I really dont like this dude. He thinks he wins the bullshit decisions he gets.
He hasnt had a good fight since forever, thankfully Hominick toke him down finally. i was a little worried Leonard Garcia was a about to get another split after that fight tbh.

 

I agree with fitches fights always being a snooze fest but did you even watch maynard/edgar 2? The both of them engaged in striking through almost 5 rounds and when they weren't doing that they were sprawling like crazy. If round 1 wasn't "actual striking" then idk what is... unless you consider "Actual striking" to the guida/sanchez fight which were barely if at all technical strikes (basically swing till one drops) which edgar/maynard both aint into because there more technical strikers and think before they make a move in the cage.

and this fight is a foty canditate and it aint to early to say that. More fights will happen through the year that could possibly be better then that bout but that doesn't mean this fight wasn't foty candidate worthy.

 

I did indeed see the right and i saw Maynard drop Edgar and i felt some hope, but Edgar's chin was too good. I saw the entire fight and i could not see any knock-out power in either. Both of them were sprawling, but wheres the submissions? All i saw was some striking that was a complete snoozefest.

Only memorable moment was when Maynard drop'd edgar down once, and after that i felt a snoozefest coming in. I just dont feel the adrenaline for Edgar VS Maynard as i do for every other division's championship matchs.

 

ITs not like he hasnt had good fights, they are exciting fights, he just seems to get the nods.
And Dunham wont ko Guillard. He might submit him, but no KO him. Leave the KO to guillard in the first round

I dont point Edgar-Maynard for FOTY, but I did like the fight quite a bit.

The fight was good, they were striking a lot. They are not submission orionted fighters. Frankie has one sub, but they do not train for sub's. They are wrestlers that can strike.

Jones has not fought a top 10 LHW yet. No way you can put him that high. I like the guy but that's way too high.

Griffin beat a washed up Ortiz, no way you can put him that high either.

Machida lost to top 3 LHW's, no way you can drop him that low.

 

I agree with you that Machida shouldn't be that low. However he only lost two times. Forrest + Franklin still have something to prove before going past Machida and Couture. Meanwhile Bader+Jones are still on their way, they arent champions yet like the rest of them on the rankings. Almost everyone you listed, Pokerking are champions OR former champions EXCEPT for Bader and Jones. Cant be so high.

 

Only lost two in a row. Everyone else are higher imo.
