Also to the other guy - it's not patched they can always make javascripts that download files on your other computer. If you run their javascript, you don't know what's it does yet - but it's obviously malicious.


At OP:

If you ran the javascript = you're infected
If you closed your browser or declined the java script = you're clean

 

Use an on-screen keyboard if it's only a keylogger. It will only detect keystrokes and not where your mouse clicks. Unless it's something more then a Keylogger but I doubt you have anything.

Anyways better safe then sorry.

 

You're fine aslong as you did'nt click "run" if you did that you would have installed the RAT.

OT: I would do a system restore to the day before like 12000 other people said, also run your virus scanner and shit man there are ways of getting rid of a key-logger without reformatting your comp. But if you feel like reformatting will clear anything weighing on your shoulders then go for it!

 

Yes reformat it and everything get rid of the virus as quick as possible.

You're fine.
Always safe to do a virus scan anyway.
Download MalewareBytes and run the scan in SAFEMODE.

And FYI.. Doing a system restore = waste of time
Doing a reformat(Re-install windows) = waste of even more time.

The time it takes to reformat is over 1 hour.
The time for a system restore is short, but won't help.
The time for a virus scan in safemode is under 1 hour.

I can detect it. I will detect it. I can. It's not hard to know + find + delete a virus, even if you make it FUD off some shitty 10$ crypter. Even if you paid 100$ for the crypter. It will be found. It will be deleted. It will be fucked.

 

It's about an hour, but yeah you keep your files & settings.
