Staking Discussions

No armor is a common rule even among mains. Dueling with no armor gives pures a huge advantage.

 

staking is always no armour so only whip or dds, if u use the tip.it calculator there really isnt even that much difference from 70-90 str in what you'll hit.

i think attack would be better to train as you'll have a great chance of hitting.

 

Seeing as this seems to be the only place to talk about staking, has anyone noticed that the addition of "enable summoning" to the staking screen has pushed 'special attacks off' down off the screen? It's only half there now and I bet there's going to be a whole load of people (ddsers,magic bow users) losing a crapload of money when they don't notice the box has been ticked.


Also, I can't wait to rake in the money from rich, inexperienced range stakers who won't realise at first that taking off the arrow slot means they can't use their bow/crossbow

I currently have a 70-40-70 Verac staker that is ready to go and a 53-80-40 I am not sure what I should do with this one. I might go for something like 99 attack 80 strength with 75-80 defence what do you guys think?

that special ticking off thing really works i've fooled so many people like that with the current staking system lol, but its gonna be harder when real staking comes back as people will be checking everything on the second screen, but hey it does fool some people.

also enable summoning to go to that second arena for less lag, maybe some people will fall for that in real staking and then u just whip out a unicorn thingy or titan lol

 

The only thing I've ever wondered was how switching attack stances can make you hit better? Like, factwise?

 

well accurate gives u more chance of hitting and agressive allowes u to hit more

 

Whippers will come out on top. Just finished my 70 attack 65 strength 1 def whipper. I'll turn him into probably 40 def if I see people not wanting to do no arm.

 

That is a really low combat level for whipping. Unless you plan on staking other pures.

What makes you think anyone will stake armor on? It used to be just the odd veracer or tank ranger and now no one will stake armor on in fear of overpowered/expensive armor.

 

Pretty much sums it up. Only pure rangers stake with armour really.. any main who'd stake with armour is an idiot

 

unless your staking without spec, which i doubt anyone will im sure someone with 60att, 75 str will dds spec you out

 

No spec fights will be pretty common. Then attack > str any day.
